First time visit last night and it was a delightful experience. Service was fast and wonderful, food was delicious, our steaks were perfectly cooked. We asked for some steak butter and the owner personally came out and used a chefs torch to fire our butter at our table. He then went above and beyond by enhancing our dining experience with complimentary dessert and gourmet coffee. Never had we had such exemplary service. The owner takes great pride in his restaurants and it truly showed in its service.

Just hasn't been the same. Service is horrible. Went there on a Saturday afternoon and it took 30 minutes to get a bottle of beer. We asked for check after that since we didn't want to wait a hour for lunch. Was there about a month ago, same service. Took about 45 minutes to start receiving any food. Server said they were out of "free salad" but we could have soup. Asked when salad would be available and basically said it wouldn't. I will not be going back there again which is a shame because I use to love that place.

I will never go here again. I met up with a friend that I haven't seen in a long time and we got a table on the patio because it was nice out. First, it smelled awful outside like as if there was manure right next to us or maybe a septic system. Then we ordered an appetizer of bruschetta for $9 and it was a dish of extremely salty, oily, and soggy muck on a plate with unripe tomatoes. Then, I ordered a haddock dish and it looked like it was the tail end of the fish with not even 3 bites to it (I am a small girl and I don't eat much but this was just ridiculous for the price they ask for such a tiny piece, at any market, that would have cost $5 at most for the piece that I got). Then to top it off, and the WORST part, which is why I decided to write a review in the first place is that when we were finished eating, the waitress asked us if we could sit in a different seat further back because she had a reservation for people. At first, we said it was fine and we moved because we are generally easy going people and don't complain, but then when we moved, another waitress came up to us and told us we can't sit on the patio at all because the whole patio had reservations! We already had a table where we had an extremely overpriced, expensive lunch, and after we finish, we were told to move because people had reservations?! So we don't count? I am NEVER going there again and making it known that no one else should ever go there for any reason unless if they want horrible service and to be rushed out of the place, as well as having at most, a mediocre expensive meal. Never again.

Ate dinner here on a Saturday night and it was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I've had. I sat outside, very nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very professional, helpful and friendly. Ordered carpaccio and salads to start- delicious. The wine we ordered was great. I ordered the Rigatoni & Meatballs. AMAZING.

Our group made reservations for 17 people. We were some of the first guests there for lunch, so the restaurant was not busy. We found the service slow to get our table in order, partly because of having just one server. Drinks were slow as well, the server was also the bartender for our group. As far as the food, sub par. I would recommend the chowder though. Cold food, unimaginative meals served, overcooked pasta, just so blah. Sorry we went there.

I have tried to love this place. I have gone here 5 times in the last year or so my first experience was great! Since then every trip has been a disaster. Inexperienced servers long wait times on drinks and food and just plain old terrible service. This last time was the last straw, there is potential for this place to be great but the management clearly doesn't care.

Four of us went for lunch. The hostess very friendly, as well as the waitress. We had $10, and $12 cheese burgers, that were so dry, and one over cooked, with extreme char buns. Ziti, and a meatball, I think was $12, small portion, and very bland. We waited 8 minutes for cokes, and a lemonade, 5 minutes for bread, and soup, 17 minutes for the meal.....not too bad, but the hostess brought out the meal, the waitress was mia. I guess ketchup no longer comes with the meal, so I wait for the hostess to bring the ketchup for 2 meals, but she is the hostess so has to tend to new customers. I waited 5 minutes just for ketchup. The waitress finally comes over to clear the table. I gave a better tip than what was deserved to a part time waitress. It used to be a great place for lunch before new ownership.

From the moment we walked in, to the waitress, to the food, and the price, this restaurant was great! I enjoyed an evening meal with a friend that I hadn't seen in ages so we had lots to catch up on. Never did we felt rushed. I actually think the food has improved a great deal since I was there several years ago.
