Definitely not the old Blue Onion. It's great that they rose back from the Chinese Communist Party flu ashes, but is the reincarnation the same or better? I'm leaning towards negative. The soup was drowning in basil. The flat bread was đź‘Ťand the meat pizza was actually pretty good. The veggie calizone was not seasoned and was bland. It's hard to get a grasp on the menu and what they are trying to accomplish.. Unfortunately, I doubt we will be back. Plotted, Scouts Out.
In town for the weekend and decided to dine here. Originally ordered a few Calzones, but unfortunately their oven was down. They reached out and offered grilled pizza versions or refunds. I opted for the grilled version and was not disappointed. I would love to indulge in the actual calzone sometime, so I hope to come back again soon. Thanks to Eric for taking good care of us and to our bartender Kylee. Great food, excellent customer service. Highly recommend!
Very quiet place to sit and eat. Although the service was good, the food was ok. I was expecting a more flavorful kind of Mediterranean style food.
Your restaurant has been the best in weslaco by far.. good job in all you do service food atmosphere on point. See you soon
The food was so good I came twice in 1 week. Hadn't tried this place even though it's been here for a long time. Tried a fajita wrap, which was excellent! Pizza was good too, but it's small for a dude, so order something else on the side.
I’m here 1st time in Weslaco and this restaurant is next to my Hotel, gave it a try and pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Both items I ordered were tasty and fresh. I’ll be back soon for yet another good meal .
Easily accessible off the expressway. Good parking. This eatery has been around a longtime, and a friend recommended this place to me. I had hummus, roasted garlic and mushroom with flatbread as an appetizer and it was delish! Large portion more than enough for 2 people. We ordered a pizza with Roma tomatoes, basil and Italian sausage and it was great. The crust was thin and the toppings were obviously fresh. Next time I will order the pizza we’ll done as it could’ve used an extra 2-3 mins in the oven, but other than that it was good. The menu is extensive and can’t wait to go back and order a gyro. Not your average valley spot and that’s what makes it special. If you like Mediterranean food you will not be disappointed.
Havent been here in 8 years.. came with my family and still pretty good. Beer selection is extensive and atmosphere is very chill. Pizzas were awesome but Gyro pizza could have used a little more salt. Other than that was great. 4 stars.
