We had not been in there for a while. The food was really good, the staff was very friendly. We saw several of the staff constantly cleaning. Sometimes you go into diners that have been around for a while and you see ripped and tattered seats, that was not the case here. The seats look new, the wood trim looked freshly polished, We will be back.
Very cool, classic diner. Counter seating and booths available. Also a small outdoor area. Large plates of good, homestyle meals. Large selection of deserts. Pies, cakes, and more baked goods in the glass case. Breakfast and lunch specials. Greek Omelette was good. French toast was fluffy, potatoes were crispy. Friendly staff, place was busy for a weekday, hostess and waitress was helpful.
It was good. Very standard diner fare. Nothing spectacular except the extent of the menu. The food was good. The service was exceptionally friendly, but not necessarily on point. Overall it was a good dining experience and i would return. One of my pancakes smiled at me... So... I'll share that photo 😂 The seasonal pumpkin pancakes were tasty, but nothing exceptional. The decaf coffee was amazing. Never had better.
I’d give them a zero but i can’t one server didn’t know what she was doing they fired our server while she was working infront of everyone manager threw cash at her at that waited 1 hour for our order because they Lost our ticket no ice in our drink do not recommend ask for wings and they over cooked them
Very disappointed.. my favorite diner ever ! Was excited to come back after closed for renovations .. while eating breakfast pulled a long piece of hair out of the home fries & was no apologies or comp to the bill, as a server myself in the food industry that’s unacceptable. Server was great , but won’t be back .
The food quality was not very good. It was a far cry from exceptional, that's for sure. The bathroom was filthy-dirty and smelled like urine. Besides being dirty, it hadn't been updated in probably 30+ years. The restaurant needs a total remodel. There were many filthy ceiling tiles, from a leaking roof. The only positive thing I can say is the waiter we had was one of the kindest, most concerning servers I've come across in a very long time. To the waiter: Thank you for the great service! Unfortunately, do to all of the negatives, I doubt I'll ever return again. Have a Blessed day....
how can you mess up breakfast? Well by serving French toast like cardboard covered with sandpaper and pancakes made of kindergarten paste 😳 When we asked to have them removed from the bill, we still ended up paying over $10 ea for eggs, meat and toast! Our server was great, but we wouldn't go back if they paid us to come!
Super dissapointed. It's a circus in there. They have 1 waitress working while the rest were standing around having a full on conversation about gender equality. My appetizer came out together with the food and everything was cold. I don't care what you talk about but make sure your customers are served in a timely manner. I still left a tip because it's a struggle out here but I will never eat here again.
