My experience here during a busy rush hour on a holiday was truly exceptional. Despite the crowded restaurant, the staff managed to provide efficient and friendly service, ensuring that everyone was seated promptly. The aroma of Indian spices filled the air, creating an inviting atmosphere. The food itself exceeded my expectations; each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and carefully balanced spices. The variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options catered to different tastes, and the appetizers were freshly made and served piping hot. Despite the bustling environment, the waitstaff remained attentive, ensuring that our needs were met. Overall it proved to be a fantastic choice for a satisfying Indian meal, even during a busy holiday rush hour. It was so good that I missed clicking some pictures as well.

Southern India cuisine. RICH, HEAVY, ROBUST, EARTHY, SPICY, and DELICIOUS. Every dish we have tried was delicious. Chicken samosa, chicken curry, goat , lamb, garlic naan, plain naan, and even dessert like dumplings in milk syrup are all delicious. Mango lassy is so good as well. Intuitive and friendly services from the lady server. Recommend dinner here in early lunch before 1 pm early dinner before 7 pm to avoid long wait time. BYOB, no corkage fees. Get alcohol at Beer on the wall next door. Discount on CASH.

An excellent Indian restaurant in the heart of Oark Ridge. They have a massive patio on the closed down for cars street - I love the setting. The occasional train can be loud but oh well. I came here for lunch with a friend, we tried the veg and non veg thali which is a lunch combo basically. They have a weekday lunch combo option for 12.99 which was not available at noon on Friday so we had the same combo for 18.99. I thought that was a little cheeky but what we got made up for it: it’s a large tray of various curries, soups, dipping sauces, Indian breads and rice. Neither of us could finish our meal! It was very tasty, and on the spicy side. We also tried the masala chai - I wasn’t as impressed with that as with the food. I can’t wait to be back and try more things on their menu.

This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in Chicago. I had chili chicken and fried rice which is closest to the real Indian style that you will get anywhere in Illinois. I ordered goat Sukkha which was good too. The thalaivas special biryani was incredible. The kothai paratha was awesome. Finally their set dosa with chicken makes them complete!

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch here, food was fresh and taste amazing! It's must try. Truly a South Indian Gem! Owner and staff was friendly. Loved the vibe

Sorry to say this but the food was stale and extremely bad. I ordered 2 things - Special Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65. The Special Chicken Biryani was most likely from previous day - spoiled and smelly. I had to throw it in trash. The Chicken 65 smelled very bad and had to throw it away as well - very disappointing.

This is one of the best restaurant of South Indian style in Chicago suburbs. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant for thali either veg or non veg . I tried chicken kothuparotta and Gobi 65 and tawa fish fry they were also tasted very good . The taste and price worth for the food items ordered .

Mysore masala dosa was decent. Sambar and chutneys were okay. The masala tasted good but was super watery. Dosa was a bit too thick/soft and wasn't spiced enough for my taste. Overall, it was alright but I have definitely had better in Chicago.
