I love this place!! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My fiance actually proposed to me here!! Everyone was so kind! My favorite dish is the preow warn, but the basil fried rice is amazing too!!! After the proposal, they let us share the new dessert, which was like fried blueberry cream cheese pockets with ice cream. So good!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went today for lunch at 12:30. I made a reservation online but the hostess said she didn’t see it. Thankfully there were a couple tables available with no wait. Our waitress was Caitlin and she was AMAZING! Greeted us promptly, was very nice and made some delicious recommendations. We tried both soups. The Tom Yum tasted similar to a regular sweet and sour soup and the Tom Kha definitely had more of a coconut milk flavor. We tried both the crispy and soft spring rolls. The soft had a very fresh flavor however I didn’t like the shrimp in it AT ALL. The crispy rolls were our favorite! For the main course my mom had the Pad Kee Mao noodles. Tasty dish but if you’re not a big fan of spicy food, medium spice may be too much! I got the yellow curry w/ chicken. The curry had good flavor but was a little sweeter than what I’m used to. The rice was mushy but I dealt with it because a side order was an additional $6.

Excellent food! One server to the restaurant was not enough to handle the crowd. The way the front is set up, the waiter can't see people standing, waited to be seated, or to pay, when their back cooking or helping. Was no toilet paper in either bathroom, which was difficult, but over all, the food really was delicious. The waiter nice, just be prepared to wait for your order to be taken and service.

I wanted to talk to you about my recent experience at the Thai Orchid Thai restaurant in Mission KS. Honestly, I used to love going there, but something seems to have changed. It feels like the quality of both the food and the service has gone downhill. The flavors just don't hit the same anymore, and I find myself missing the way the original owners used to cook the real Thai dishes. I recently tried the food again, hoping for a better experience, but it was dry and honestly quite awful. On top of that, when I went to pay, they asked if I wanted the change back over four dollars for a to-go order. This really left a bad taste in my mouth. I've given this place multiple chances, but it seems like the decline in quality and service is a consistent issue. I highly recommend checking out the Thai restaurant on 87th Street and Overland Park instead. They've managed to maintain the tradition, quality, and deliciousness of their original food. I'm honestly perplexed by all the positive feedback this place receives. It feels like there might be something fishy going on at the restaurant with regards to how they operate. Needless to say, I won't be going back again. Hope this information is helpful. Have a great day!

Over two decades old with family Thai recipe. Our family usual take out is Thai Fried Rice, Pad Seew, Grapow Chicken Thai style with fried eggs and spring rolls. Their curry is rich and not watering like some other Thai restaurants. Their spice level is not the same as most of other Thai restaurant in town! It is Thai spice level for even mild spice level😄. You can even order Thai hot if you like. So think twice before you order spice level here! If you do take out, the best way is order online so you do not have to wait more than an hour. It is easy to do online than call in especially weekend!

This is such a gem of a Thai restaurant. We had Cody serving us and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. Knows the menu well and can make well informed suggestions and recommendations. They were very accommodating here. I took the Thai Orchid kitchen, one of their special dishes and it was exactly as cost had described down to the texture. I'm a big fan of the peanut sauce and it was delicious. Will definitely be back to try out the other dishes too

food was amazing and came out in good time. wait staff was kind and good at explaining what type of flavor some of the dishes will have. has a Beautiful atmosphere and will 100% be returning! :)))

If you want authentic Thai This is the place. Perfect spicy level. This place gives options of mild, mild plus, medium or medium plus, etc. Iordered to go pad ki Mao it's flat rice noodle dish with broccoli, peppers,, and carrots and spicy basil fried rice , chicken satay, and fried spring rolls. Portions are great for the price!! I absolutely love sweet sauce served with rolls and the cucumber sauce is full of flavor. I would love to know how to make it ... The ambiance is welcoming along with the staff. I waited maybe 12-15 mins for my order. This is a favorite Thai place of mine now. It's family owned, relatively quiet, and small cute restaurant with plenty of room for small or large parties.
