Nice atmosphere with good food. It a casual eatery with good food. Probably top 5 crab cakes I've had in Florida. The service was attentive, prompt, but not fussy. Mid range priced, not cheap, not expensive. If been back twice since my first visit.
Great food, excellent service, we'll be back! I enjoyed this catch-of-the-day sandwich of blackened corvina with a lemon shandy beer (they make their own lemonade), while my wife ate a tasty Waldorf salad. Yum!
Some of the best pasta I have ever had hands down. Very cozy atmosphere with stellar service. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered their Maple Old Fashioned and it is easily the 2nd best Old Fashioned I have ever had. I ended up ordering 4 because they were so good. If you love pasta and good drinks I highly recommend Testa's.
Food is good but service lacks. Have been there often. Went there for breakfast and waitress was MIA after food was served. No stopping by for checking on the food or for coffee refills. Said something to owner but she quickly defended the waitress...that she was the best. An apology would have been more appropriate. Such is life but this is how old business slowly go under, set in their own mediocre ways.
Great location and the food is consistently good. The crab cake, one of their specialties, is unusual in its consistency with primarily only egg used to bind the crab together. That said, it is delicious and 90-95% crabmeat:). The quesadillas were also better than anticipated. We enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio from their extensive wine list with a sampling of appetizers. The tomato and onion salad and the tomato and mozzarella salad were also very tasty. The service was prompt, pleasant and helpful. All said a very good experience!
great place for weekend Brunch. Totally NON-Smoking... even outdoors which is not the norm for South Florida where the Alter Kockers never stop smoking. Suggestion: Reserve a table in the courtyard (when available / in-season).
Testa's of Palm Beach is 5 Star. What a shame it's closing next weekend. Superb crab cake sandwiches, choice of fries, cole slaw, yellow rice or salad. The crab cakes are 100% lump crab with very little fillers! Excellent service, excellent prices, greeted at the door by Mr. Testa every time we go!
The place is just so friendly. The atmosphere is calm, social, friendly. The bartenders are amazing. A little bit over priced for the food, which was okay.
