Enjoyed the meal. Server Jack was outstanding and no complaints there. Food was good, but not great. Sushi platter was excellent. Volcano roll was not appetizing looking. Taste of it was mid. Biggest issue was a huge delay from serving mains (which were great - Udon and Spicy Noodles) to two members of our party and serving sushi. The rolls came to one person at least ten minutes after the mains and the sushi platter took yet another ten thus resulting in the sushi platter eater getting their food at least 15m and maybe 20m after the two people who already had their mains.
The food was excellent, the service was quick and attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The lobster tempura fondue was unique and delicious. The desserts were also top notch. This is an excellent restaurant to go to for celebrations and special occasions
Food & service, was great as always. Was a bit surprised by the credit card service fee and the black vulture being fed outside the kitchen...... never saw that before! Maybe it keeps other pests away?!
The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful when we arrived. What annoyed me was that we were told we didn't need to make a reservation for a Monday evening, but when we arrived, we had a 20-minute wait time. I expressed my frustration and disappointment. The hostess was apologetic and directed us towards the bar. We ended up having our entire meal at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The reason for a 3 rating is because our previous visit was a total bust. Their lunchtime hours of operation had changed, but their website did not reflect this. We rushed to get there for lunch but the kitchen was closed. So frustrating!
Food was great and they have a very good selection of asian food, sake and drinks. Overall it was a great experience.
Big thank you to our server Jack for making it such a special night. We didn’t tell anyone that it was my birthday and our food was amazing but service even better. It’s even more impactful when your experience is awesome without even telling anyone it’s a special occasion. Jack was attentive but not overbearing, charming and fun, knowledgeable about the menu and overall just really kind and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back soon. Please recognize him and his service!
Catherine with a C, took our dining experience to the next level. She actually liked people, and she waits on them, imagine that. The food was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be back, and will be asking for Catherine with a C.
