Do not miss a chance to come here and get a fantastic dinner!! The food is a step above most local restaurants and moderately priced. Everything is wonderfully spiced and the food comes out piping hot. We had the 3 sauce appetizer,, 2 chicken dishes and a spicy vegetarian dish. We ate it all because it was so good. We will definitely be back:)

I was in Schenectady for work for the week and some locals told us we had to check out Tara kitchen and I'm so glad we took the chance! It is very unassuming from the outside but the food is out of this world delicious! I will definitely pick my hotel to be close to here when I come back for work!

We went on a Thursday night during prime dinner hours. There was a 20 min wait but with no reservations that was ok with us. Food was amazing and the service was great!! Well worth the wait! We were kindly greeting with water, their house green tea and menus by our server. We decided to get signature drinks - flying fig martini and the Moroccan sunrise - both very well made and tasty. We got the Moroccan ‘cigars’ for an appetizer which were very good and the sauce on it made it even better. For the entrees we selected the lamb meatballs w/ spaghetti in a special house made sauce which was very good and meat balls were big! And we got the Chicken Tagine with tomato jam, Harissa, almonds and figs - this dish was outstanding!! Both came with a side of seasoned rice and warm pita bread. We also order the charred broccoli with garlic and that was perfectly charred and very yummy. The portions were good sized we ended up wrapping the rest of our meals and ordered desserts to go. We got the cheesecake- topped with a berry sauce and crushed pistachios and baclava- delish! Definitely will go back!!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! I went on my birthday and enjoyed a delicious fish with preserved lemons and olive tagine. I sat on the back patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather and delicious food. Highly, highly recommend this place to others!!

The food was good and innovative compared to our usual fare. The service was also fine. There are profusion of stairs to be negotiated to get into the back dining area or on to the back deck, turn down into the backyard where you can also dine. There is a big exhaust fan in the back providing background noise that is bothersome if you're at the age where that kind of thing is bothersome. Food delivers good quality for the price. But the price is not cheap. We had two entrees, an appetizer, no alcohol and no dessert and the meal with tax and tip came out just shy of $100. If you are going to order lamb just order one of the the meatballs are not up to the level of the other. Management slaps a 3% fee on for using a credit card which I find off-putting. It is innovative cuisine for our area and I wish them well but I don't know how often I'll be going back. For a hundred bucks I can still buy two nice steaks and a decent Bordeaux and dine at home. After daytime business hours the parking lot across the street is free and very convenient.

I came across this hidden gem on my way to Canada. A cozy Moroccan cuisine with big flavor. The eggplant appetizer dip and chicken vegetable are absolutely delicious. The vegetable is cooked to perfection, fresh, sweet and subtly tangy. Their pita is thicker than store bought pita, which gave a dense texture. —— Came to this place second time a year later and the food is delicious as expected.

Came here on a Wednesday before a show at proctors. We arrived at 5:10 and were seated promptly. By 5:30 the entire restaurant was full! Nonetheless our food came out promptly and was quite delicious. I had the eggplant tagine and it was perfectly spiced, savory, flavorful and sweet. I could have eaten the whole thing but wanted to save room for the baklava which i highly recommend as well! Despite the whole restaurant being full our server was prompt and attentive. I appreciate that they were aware we needed to be on time to the show. We sat near the door so i could see that even as busy as it was the maximum wait time for anyone who didn't sit at the bar instead of getting a table was about 15 minutes. Id give more than 5 stars if i could because its not easy to have such amazing food and amazing service despite being packed!

The food is absolutely delicious! The aroma of spices will delight you, and the taste is amazing. Reasonably priced. Definitely treat yourself to one of their Cosmos, try the Trio Dip, and end with the Baklava! Their dinner entrees will not disappoint.
