The cashier Martinez, K proceeded to do her job very poorly. she shows no interest in working which causes her efforts to help customers horribly. she’s always in a rush and always messes up orders. Nicole was so sweet and helped us after we had been waiting for over 20 mins for two tacos.
Tacos were such a disappointment. Like is it really that hard to cut up the meat ? On top of it all , Give the entire fat and NO meat ! So terrible ! Considering it’s a taqueria I would expect the tacos to be A+, but everything else was enjoyable.
2 burritos and 8 tacos took over 40 min to get with no line. Cashier wasn’t wearing a mask. Haven’t tried the food yet and it does look really good but the no mask and wait time not worth it. First time here at last time. Update: burritos had a ton of rice and beans and very little meat. I asked for lemons and they said they were good n the bag. Got back and no lemons in the bag. Will never be back
I contracted Taqueria Los Gueros for a private party and they were absolutely incredible. Kevin Martinez, the catering manager was easy to work with, responsive and ensured that the booking process was smooth and easy. The caterers arrived on time, provided excellent customer service and of course, the food did not disappoint. Thank you for the top notch service!
I ordered shrimp tacos and were beyond my expectations. I saw they have what appears to be Aguas frescas in the fridge I asked the girl at the counter if they were really fresh of course she said yes. I took one but it didn't taste well. The food is freak it was just that one Tamarindo water that was bad. I'm sure they can do better.
Definitely a go-to for late night cravings! First time here and we'll definitely be back. The customer service could be a little better, I dislike dealing with waitresses with flat-affects, but the quality of the food makes up for it (a little).
MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Excerpt from Eat the World NYC: What sets Taqueria Los Güeros apart from most of the competition in this part of the world is their terrific adobo blend, a mixture of dried chilis, achiote paste, pineapple, and all the secret spices. This is applied to the small strips of meat before they are mounted onto the spit to be grilled vertically. You can find the meat in many forms here, but why not start with a plate of los tacos ($6.99), a portion of four mini D.F. style taquitos loaded with al pastor, onions, and cilantro. They do a good job bringing the packaged tortillas back to life with some grilling and oils, but make sure to squeeze some lime and load it up further with the gorgeous red salsa that arrives with other condiments.
It's a real shame writing this review. Have been going for years and it just keeps getting worse. Today we decided to order a Poblano Alambrón. Our usual go to for a family dinner. It's a shame of the quality this time around. All veggies in the dish burnt. The meat mostly charred. While picking up for take out I noticed the staff is constantly just chatting with the cooks. No wonder our food came out like this. This is also not the first time, before quarantine we noticed it's just a hang out for staff so even dining in service was lacking but never reviewed because food is superb. Hope to see the service to come back up soon. It's a shame how long standing restaurants forget what brought them up to their current standings.
