YES 2,000% AWESOME BREAKFAST PLACE, Where do I even begin? The waitresses were kind, sweet, attentive and bubbly!! Your coffee cup will never go empty, seriously. They are on point The environment is peaceful, many locals but still very inviting fresh smell of pancakes…. Ahhhhh Now the food!!! PANCAKES WERE FLUFFY, SUPER HOT AND FRESH! I LOVE FRESH!! THE MEATS WERE TASTY AND SAVORY NOT GREASY. THE FRIED RICE WAS DELICIOUS THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT, MUST COME AND TRY FOR SURE!! MAKE SURE TO TIP HEAVY
Pretty good food, would definitely come back if I am staying at the connected hotel again. The menu is Filipino style, so just be aware when ordering. I had the beef short rib moco loco and the mat was very tender. The other people in my party got fish n chips and another fish dish. I enjoyed the cheesecake and the massive mud pie ice cream.
We dined at Tante's twice during our stay at Maui Seaside hotel. The food was very good and the staff very friendly. Many locals dine here, celebrating birthdays, so you know it's good. They have traditional Hawaiian dishes and Filipino dishes, which was a first for me. The portions are big, the kids cheese burger is much bigger than some fast-food restaurants. The first time I had Kula Chicken with pineapple and the second time the Miki with rice and purple sweet potato salad. I definitely recommend you give it a try! Plus you get a discount if you stay at the hotel.
Walking like if you were going to the lobby but it’s on the immediate right before you walk in. Plan ahead this place is popular! We didn’t have to wait long, but there was a lot of people already. Staff is friendly and attentive in the beginning. Food is great! Getting our check took a bit longer but we wasn’t in a rush
The last time I was in Maui, a few months ago, I ordered the Loco Moco from Tante's. I loved it! Not only was the dish amazing, it set me on the hunt for even better Loco Moco. Right after I placed my order, I saw it - Beef Short Rib Loco Moco. Now, it isn't Loco Moco in the traditional sense, but the rice, egg, short ribs, and sauce which reminded me more of a sweet demi glaze than a gravy. I still devoured the plate without much resistance. The short rib was so tender it flaked onto the fork. The eggs were soft and runny, and it covered the rice with just the right amount of yolk. The rice was steamed and delicious. I cannot say more about how awesome this dish is. I had coffee with my meal. A bagel sandwich was ordered by my wife and toddler. They both enjoyed the sandwich, with the little one smashing the cream cheese and smoked salmon faster than I could drink my coffee. The vibe is awesome. Great decorations, and friendly staff. It is definitely a local favorite as it's always busy and full of life. We will continue coming to this great restaurant.
Part of a large group, 15+ people. They handled it no problem. Staff was friendly. Omelet minus sausage was Gluten-free as promised. Would eat here again

Stopped here for a meal before my flight! And oh my gosh!! Eggs are so creamy and pancakes were to die for! Great service great food what more could you ask for. Highly recommended
