I ordered delivery, Scallion, pancakes, and Maki. I have never in my life had such bad scallion pancakes. Maybe it was a one off but I’ve been to the other Takara locations and I am a little shocked. The maki was okay.

It seems the place is not to clean, dirty floors and aquarium. I would never eat in the place with dirty aquarium. Staff is not very customer friendly, but not too bad. Service a bit on the slow side. There was one couple who just arrived, but I waited for some time for my delivery order. Plenty of parking though. I hope they clean the place a bit. Sweep and mop the floor for the start.

Loved the unagi don but it didn’t come with a lot of rice. The pickles were very tasty, a nice touch. Other sushi rolls were good. Chirashi don was strange as it was served almost as if it was nigiri while we expected a bowl.

Excellent sushi! We ordered edamame and calamari tempura for apps, the calamari were amazing. The seafood salad was delightful too. This is a very clean place, very polite staff. Would definitely come again if in the area.

service is bad-the lady on the phone is extremely rude, food quality is worse and fish went bad so was warm and tasted sour. NEVER GO OR ORDER FROM THIS PLACE - ordered 2 times and i had horrible experience from both

KEEP AWAY. I got horrible food poisoning from this place. It's generally unclean and I should have trusted my initial impression and turned around but I decided to take a chance, big mistake on my part. The staff was comically rude, one waitress kept yelling at different customers whenever anyone would ask her a question. It was entertaining to watch for a bit while I was sitting at their filthy bar but I can't imagine why a business would keep an employee that rude and incompetent since it has to be hurting their business financially. All I know is that I definitely won't be returning ever.

Excellent quality of food, beautifully prepared, and very good value. Great service. Sushi sashimi combo dinner was fresh, savory and elegant and accented with shisou leaves (frankly all too rare for most Japese restaurants in metro west)... more fish than rice! A wide and interesting array of Mali rolls for those inclined. The BIG surprise was the extensive selection of Korean bibimbaps. Including the only personally known Okdol bibimbap (Okdol style serves in a very hot stone bowl to crisp sear the rice for layers on new flavor). I will certainly be back to this little gem!!

Smaller than their Medfield location. Well prepared sushi, but definitely caters to the Wellesley suburb crowd so conservative in cuisine. Also Bubble Tea.
