User Reviews

First let me say that I am a long time Taco Bell customer and I normally enjoy their food. But this location in Kingwood is awful. Which is disappointing since it is right around the corner from my new home. I first visited a few weeks ago. Immediately upon walking in we noticed it was very warn inside. After receiving our food, and sitting down to eat, we realized it was unbearably warm, and checked with the person in charge. She stated that the owner had been made aware of how warm it was, but insisted that there was not a problem with the A/C system, and refused to call to have it looked at or repaired. He also kept a lock on the thermostat and did not allow anyone other than himself to turn the temperature setting down. This is Houston in the summer. We had the option of leaving, and eating in our car. Which we did. But those conditions are a cruel atmosphere for his employees. Shameful actions by the owner! Today my wife ran by to pick up food for the family. The food was pretty bad. Crispy tacos were not crispy. They were soggy and the shells stuck to the paper so bad that they completely fell apart when taken out of the wrapper. And my steak burrito supreme, one of their pricier items, was inedible. The steak tasted like it had been soaking in a salt bath overnight. My mouth is still burning as I write this from the amount of salt that was on the meat. I threw half of it away. Just horrible. I doubt that I will ever return to this location.

This location use to be ok, but we went today and it was filthy! First off the drink area looked as if someone exploded a red soda EVERYWHERE, and did not clean it up. The condiments were in desperate need of attention and the trash cans were FULL, the one at the drink station was OVERFLOWING! Secondly, as I was waiting to pick up my order I saw one of the employees pull here phone from her back pocket to answer it (while she was wearing food prep gloves). She proceeded to place her phone on the stack of taco wrappers being used to make tacos. I asked her "did you just put your phone on the wrappers"? She gave me such an attitude and disappeared quickly into the back of the kitchen. All the tables in the dining area were dirty as well was the floor. If you are the owner or a manager there you should take note of this review.

Food is average but after paying extra for changing the sauce, very little was placed on the food and even more was spilt all over the bag and I had a few items missing from the order. Lady at the drive through window was very polite until the end when I had to double check my food a second time after having to go back around when she added "can you pull around to the mobile spot, you're making my time go way up" which is what led to this review. I'm sorry for having to check the food yet again but maybe it would be better placed to bring that argument to the kitchen team who caused the issue, not the customer who only came back to address the issue the kitchen caused? I put service at a 3 instead of 2 because outside of that comment, she was very polite. Not sure if I will return.

I don’t know how this location is still open. This location is TERRIBLE. Worst Taco Bell I’ve ever had. Food is always cold, never any meat in the items. Helen Keller could have made my food better. If you want Taco Bell, GO TO THE OTHER KINGWOOD LOCATION.

This is unacceptable especially when you pay extra for the substitution of steak. My 3 taco combo was all like this as I noticed they used lettuce for a filler on each one with very little meat.

Grilled doesn’t always mean grilled ; you will have to take the employees slamming the window and facing the other way the entire time except when they are taking payment . 3 stars is all I can do I love Taco Bell but they have no rules for employees and it doesn’t seem to really matter because we always come back because it’s cheap and fast but if they really want the line to go faster perhaps they should advise the employees to at least act concerned about the customers. Because after being ignored it only holds up the line having to tell them what you needed ; like my slushes were all wrong and she could’ve fixed that while we waited but it had to wait until she decided to turn around . And I even honked but that was pointless.

I never thought I would come across a Taco Bell that not only was good but consistent. The workers are always doing an amazing job, hopefully they are paid being well.

My grand daughter went in for an interview and was completely ignored. After about 20 minutes she walked to the counter to asked if she should return at another time and ALL the staff went into an office, leaving the store unattended. Quite disrespectful.
