Breakfast Menu "Sweet Cake Bake Shop" Bountiful

My husband and I have heard about Sweet Cake Bake Shop a while ago and finally decided to check them out because their cinnamon rolls looked fluffy and delicious. They are, in fact, fluffy and Delicious. You can't even tell that any of their baked goods are gluten-free. We even tried some of the vegan treats, even though we are not vegan eaters... they were just as tasty as the rest, too. We sampled a little bit of everything from cupcakes, bars, rolls, and cookies. We have been twice and have gotten too many to name, but some of our favorites are the cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, key lime and chocolate cream cheese cupcakes, vegan lemon crinkle cookie and the kitchen sink cookie. I haven't tried the bars or savory rolls yet, but I am excited to try them this weekend. This is the closest gluten-free bakery to our house, so im very happy that they are actually very tasty and the bakery is extremely cute and cozy.

BEST GLUTEN FREE BAKERY EVER!! I enjoyed working here. The treats/breads are amazing and fresh daily. The owner Ali and the sweet bakers are very friendly and answer any questions you might have about the items there, questions for placing an order or even having a wedding cake. Ali made ours! Churro, strawberry shortcake and pumpkin spice. Love this shop and would definitely recommend this to any lover of baked goods.

This is an amazing bakery. Found out I was celiac more than a year ago and thought I had to cut some of my favorite foods out of my diet. Have tried some of the options at grocery store and decided they were not even worth eating. So far I’ve tried the bread, rolls, cookies and cupcakes. Everything I’ve tried has been so good, would not even know was gluten free. They even have gluten and dairy free options that my coworkers loved. The staff was very good, knew their stuff! The owner was even better. She shared her story, background and how/why she came to own a bakery. Really appreciated the extra information and how much she cared about what she was doing. If you’re just trying to eat healthier or have a food allergy- you MUST visit this bakery.

Incredible! I've been gluten-free for 10 years and this is the first bakery where *everything* is as good or better than "regular" baked goods--gf/vegan included. The cinnamon rolls are *magic* and the best I've ever had!!! Like I will drive 35min to get one and then eat it alone in the car like a dirty secret.

Absolute best gluten-free bakery I have ever found. Worth it for the lemon bars alone. Sunflower sugar cookies are out of this world. If you get a muffin with frosting, let it come to room temperature and the frosting will be much better. Go here and you will not be disappointed.

We went into the shop today as the street was having a sidewalk sale. Everything looked so good!!! Lots of yummy looking vegan options and I was excited to tell my sister about this cute bakery that sold vegan options. The reason for the low stars is how the owner treated her staff and the customers. A customer asked a very basic question about how long did she need to pre-order. The kind staff ( younger female maybe late teens) said 48 hours for most orders. The owner interrupted their conversation and told the staff that was incorrect. The set girl held her head down in shame.. the owner then turned to the customer and said" now you listen to me! And you listen good!" She went on and on about it. It made everyone in the store feel uncomfortable. We just left and didn't get anything. No one should treat their staff that horrible! Let alone a customer.

I read a lot of comments that said the service wasn’t great, however we found that to be complete opposite with our experience. First time going in and they were extremely kind and patient with all of our questions. Offered us recommendations and wrapped up our choices nicely so they would travel well. Didn’t feel pressured to hurry and left wanting to come back and try more. Took off one star just because the cupcakes we got were off a smidge in texture. Almost a touch dry. But we will still go back and try another. I like that they offer vegan options as well as the gluten free. Overall a good experience. I hope they succeed in the area.

My spouse and I went in this shop this morning. A customer was asking about placing orders. The sweet girl behind the counter answered her question politely, when the manager says, “that’s not correct, you listen to me closely” and then started talking to the customer. That sweet girl that had given a kind answer, looked so defeated, she kept her eyes down as she had just been publicly humiliated by the manager in front of a lot of customers. We were going to purchase items, but walked out and will not be going back. The manager should be ashamed of herself for the way she treated her employee. A good leader would have not treated an employee like that! Super disappointed. To the owner/manager: Do Better! Be better! You will not be getting our service.
