User Reviews

Only one person working, and the line was 6 people long. I ordered a protein bowl and the salad was so sparse… I was extremely dissatisfied. If you’re looking for quality Subway, take the extra ride to the other side of town or into Southbury; don’t waste your money here.

Great staff and great food. They don’t cross contaminate their meats at all so it’s halal and vegan friendly. Best subway in CT for sure.

The staff was attentive and friendly, but didn't remember what they had made for us, leading to some confusion at the checkout. The food tasted fresh. Parking was a little confusing--we parked behind the store.

Good food, good people....(it's a subway it's fine). Staff were chill.

Love subway. Nothing to complain about. Clean, fresh, good.

Quaint setting, in a house-like building. Staff was super attentive. I wanted some of the broccoli cheese soup, and they made me a fresh batch but it didn't take long. Not a whole lot of parking, however. Seems to be mostly street parking.

The cleanliness of inside and especially the rear outside the building is sub-par. The service is absolutely sub-par. And the food, well, it's Subway so you get Subway. I observed fruit flies around the soda fountain, unwiped counters and employees with attitudes that clearly demonstrate that there's somewhere else they'd like to be, like underneath this very building where they live. Sandy Hook doesn't need a Subway restaurant, especially a dirty one with poor service. I very seldom post a bad review about any place but when it comes to a restaurant, it's important to share my experience so others don't suffer from the experience I did.

This is the only Subway I will go to. The staff is super attentive and kind, it is always clean, and the food always tastes great. I've been to other ones and they either are not kept very clean, or their gofo doesn't taste as good. Definitely 5/5 for this specific Subway.
