More space than the other Subway by campus. Walked right up and ordered a steak on 9 grain. See pic. Meat was good, bread fresh veggies were crisp. The girl and guy were kind of hiding out but came out of the woodwork when I came into the store. Tables n chairs For seating. Clean. Standard subway drink options. They should have edamame and vegetable crisps for snack option. No greasy potato chips for me. Lost a star for no WiFi.
My boyfriend and I were ordering our subs and when my boyfriend was ordering his sandwich he got double meat, and the worker, Tony, rolled his eyes and agitatedly said, “Jeez, how much chicken do you need”? It was rude and unnecessary. No need to make people feel bad or comment negatively for their orders. He then continued to treat us poorly in a very annoyed, breathy tone. After he had put the meat on the sandwich, he then rolled his eyes again and said very sarcastically, “Do you need double cheese too?” It was very uncalled for. The second worker who put on the veggies was wonderful and friendly and very conversational. He made you feel welcome. I can’t remember his name, but I believe it started with a B. But, yeah. Tony is not a nice guy. Do not want to go in if he is working. Be kind. It’s not hard.
The workers at this place are always chill and fun to talk to. I was in tonight around 6 pm? It seemed they were very short staffed and a little stressed with a pretty long line but they were doing their best. I’ve worked in the service industry from fast casual to serving and bartending, so I know how to be patient. Everywhere is so short staffed and it seems like customers get more demanding and rude by the day (which is why I’m no longer in the industry.) I think they deserve some credit and appreciation by customers and management! :)
The girls there are nice and fast… the men that work there…. Slow… don’t know how to wrap a sandwich
My fiancee and I were there for lunch and the person waiting on us was not very friendly and didn't even greet us when we walked in. Even after we said hello first. The shift leader was very agitated with the employee while we were there. When the employee was going from cashier to making sandwiches, he never washed his hands. No eye contact either. When I went up to ask for napkins, the shift leader scolded him in front of me and told him to remember them with the orders. Wow.
Worst experience I’ve ever had at this store. I’ve enjoyed all my other visits here. The employee was just throwing things on the sandwiches. He had headphones in so he wasn’t really listening. We asked for bacon three times and he just didn’t put it on. It was like talking to a wall. I get being exhausted from your workday, but I don’t think it’s appropriate to neglect your job for that reason. He wasn’t wearing a name tag but he had darker brown hair and glasses. He made me feel bad for telling him what I wanted on my sub.
Ordered a sub & a salad. So disappointed. My salad had a long hair in it.. couldn't finish it. 🤮 both girls that were making sandwiches had hair LOOSELY tied up, at best. The restaurant was clean, well-lit & smelled great! The girls were friendly & talkative; helpful if you will. ***I would love to give 3 or even 4 stars but the hair in my salad is just too GROSS!!!***
Ordered 3 party platters from Paulsen St.. The platters surpassed expectations. tasty. Well filled well presented. The side of veggies were clean. Organized and fresh. I Gave this location a 5 because of the great product they made. The fill in manager when I paid for and picked up later was professional, courteous represe noted her position and store well. She even Helped take it to my suv. Exceptional customer service it is the little things She alone Changed the rating to a 5. I live 5 hrs and troed to do this order online the online is horrendous. I would get the order in and it would not take a date the it went to somtng Canadian. Ihad a login did not work.. I called the store too. It took 2 weeks to get the order in by calling for 2 hrs A week before Needing the platters. The young man Who took the order was a Godsend. Helpful well Informed. The Chain needs to overhaul the online ordering to make it easy to use not a deterrent to go else where. That young man who took the order and the manager saved this customer times 20.
