On our way to gulf shores we stopped here for a quick lunch. I should have read the reviews first. The bad reviews are 100% accurate. There's a lady there that argues and makes rude comments to customers and the gentleman behind the counter is more worried about speed and money then accuracy and making the customer happy. They messed up our sandwiches and mixed them with the order ahead of us. The rude lady behind the counter then insisted that I pay for their sandwiches and switch with them. Since I had little kids, I caved and did it. Terrible idea. There were items on our sandwiches that the kids wouldn't eat. Save your time, money, and mind and do not go here. Do not support this kind of business. Poor attitude, dirty dining area, bread was stale. Last time we will be stopping there.
This was a different type of subway, it had vegetables in a steam table! I had a piece of chicken 🐔 and some green beans, it was a very good meal, not too expensive. 😋 Nuff said..
I just looked through and saw other reviews that were similar to my experience. I can’t believe I am looking up this subway to leave a bad review the next day because it was so terrible that it stuck with me. The woman behind the counter completely messed up my order and made the wrong sandwich. At check out I told the guy I ordered a tunafish and she corrected him and charge me for something else. I thought she was just making sure I paid for the extra bacon, but when I got to my car I saw there was no tunafish on my sandwich, just spinach and bacon, and went back in and she tried to charge me more and then argued that I should have watched her make the sandwich. I just kindly asked for a little cup of tuna to put on my sandwich and the cashier acknowledged that the order was wrong. It was a ridiculously bad experience. When you walk in, you have to yell to get the four people who are sitting in the back doing nothing and there is a TV on and music and there are tables between the counter and you so they can’t hear you and you cannot see the toppings they are putting on your sandwich along with a slight language barrier. Save yourself a stop and go somewhere else.
Pull up to the store, the employee was outside sitting at the table rolling a blunt. He asked me was I coming to get a sandwich, I said yeah. He said I’m on break and that he was the only one working. Thank god he was! From the way he looked, I can only imagine how nasty it probably is inside. Avoid!
The sandwich was excellent. The building was weird... It looked like a gas station with one dining area shared by two restaurants, one of which seemed to be closed. The tables were haphazardly placed, some stored in the eating area. It was like a restaurant during Covid.
My friend ordered a tuna fish sandwich and when she realized they forgot the tuna she went back and was told she should have watched them make the sandwich!? They tried to charge her $2 more to add the tuna or return her drink.
Always a great place to eat. Fresh food always. This one was very clean and the people was so sweet and helpful thanks.
I asked what looked to be the manager if he could wrap my footlong separate... He said it would be an extra dollar. My meal was already $12. I told him if there was a charge for wrapping my sandwich that I would not be back. He told me to go somewhere else next time...and I am. I hope everyone who reads this review does the same. The customer means nothing to these people!
