Don't waste your time going to this location. It is worth it to drive the extra few minutes to one of the St. John locations where the staff is properly trained and the owner doesn't have to post signs yelling at the customers about their poor service.

The service and atmosphere are pure Subway, ok, and clean. This stores's bathroom is off limits still. But I like the sandwiches I've had there. I stick with the hot sandwiches, particularly the chicken. The chicken is real roasted chicken, and there is an ample amount of it on the sandwich. The bread they use isn't high end french, but it is fresh. The flatbread is pretty good also. Good enough that I bought some at the grocery store. Some Subways will sell an extra bread, but this one won't. The cookies are good too. There is a good deal if you add a bottle of soda, a bag of chips and a cookie. A well rounded meal! My store is open until 1 am, so it's a quick, easy late night meal.

I love their salami sandwich I just think their prices are getting out of hand. So, I don't eat them as often as I used to.

This is the worst Subway I have ever tried! The sub bun was stale and the lettuce was turning brown and wilted! When I asked the owner for fresher lettuce he became extremely rude! It is a little farther to drive but I now go to the Subway on 231, very good service and a much better sub! Maybe if the owner kept his political views off the marquee he would have time to run a more respectable buissness! I gave it one star because there wasn't an option to give it zero stars!

When I first came here, they do not accept coupon. Really? sure, fine but then this owner puts up a few political opinions on his "Subway" marquee. POS I actually feel sorry for the kids working here.

This is the worst Subway in NW Indiana. The Owner is a piece of dirt & rude as hell. Doesn't care about his customer all he cares about is making his restaurant look like a prison when you walk in. The food was awful and he has the smallest....um....meat serving you've ever seen. Never again. And his ignorant political views on his sign, really man? Do you not know that he wanted her to come home first? Fool.

Rude and not willing to make a correct order....

The best Subway I have ever been to. I never had someone put so much care into making my sandwiches. Shawn made them perfect and they were delicious. I used a coupon that came in the paper so I got two 12" subs for $12.99. Phenomenal customer service here and the subs were made perfect. I highly recommend Subway in Cedar Lake.
