We have traveled from Florida to California over three months, we have Mexican at least once a week, maybe twice and this is the best since we’ve left Florida. We had chicken and cheese enchiladas, chips and salsa, margaritas and beer and the service was phenomenal. The food was excellent, if we lived here. We would come at least once a week, maybe twice!! Angelica was an amazing server, the owner was present and engaged, offered us seating wherever we preferred. Great bar area and really pretty outside seating as well. Atmosphere is awesome and accommodating. Fabulous Cadillac margarita!
It's been a while since we had been to Su Casa, so we decided to end a night where did a progressive dinner by having dessert and coffee and this well established local place. It was my wife's birthday and she had a craving for fried ice cream. Once I saw the strawberry & peaches chimichanga with ice cream & chocolate drizzle I had to try that. It was excellent! Like a churro, fruit pie pastry. It was so yummy!
Very tasty Mexican with good portion sizes and had 2-3 options that were easy to make vegan. Veggie burrito and veggie fajitas were excellent (veggie fajitas weren’t on the menu but are indeed an option). Chips/salsa and guac were very high quality but they cost extra—with it though. Patio was delightful—very comfortable couch seating and misters too. The waitress was perfect—kind and she thoughtfully asked us if we wanted to keep the misters on etc. She was very organized with the split bills too. I would definitely go here again.
Outdoor patio was nice. Drinks and food alittle prices for the quality and portions. Prices are not listed on menu so that should be a clue. Staff was awesome though. Very friendly and patient while we were navigating the three menus to choose from for drinks and food. Not crowded at all for Taco Tuesday night. Great music and atmosphere to dine in. Love that I could drink for once, since my husband and I walked from home less than 2 blocks away, I didn't have to worry about being the designated safe driver. We did dine in for my husband and I and take out for my teen kids at home.
We didn't have a great experience at this restaurant. Service was kinda slow (though they were understaffed I think, so I wouldn't remove a point for that). What I would remove a point for are the following: Asked (Several times) about Gluten Free and Celiac and was assured they could accomadate. They told us what was good and what wasn't. What wasn't was anything fried, and the put the beans in a fried bowl on the Celiac's plate. So that's bad and typically requires a new plate as just cross contamination can cause issues. Pretty much all the food came out kinda cold (except the chimichanga, so it was probably it's fault). And the food that did come out wasn't great. Several members of the service staff were very nice, but the whole experience just wasn't good.
It was okay, I don't think I'd ever return. The chips reminded me of something you get at a grocery store, and the rest of the meal was a similar experience.
Never been here before. Great atmosphere and great service. The food was fresh, excellent and plentiful. The server, I forgot her name 😪 was also excellent. Fast service and very attentive to our group! I would highly recommend this place. Enjoy!
Portions are small and food is okay, not really something special here . Just good enough to survive and keep going on the road . For a small portion of salmon with dried smashed potatoes, some questionable red pepper sauce and decorative vegetables $28 , expensive for average food . Not going again
