First time at Strayhorn Grill, we had a great dinner! We stopped in on a Friday night around 5:30 and got a table right away; there was a bit of a wait when we left. Large portions, fast service, and very friendly staff. We started the meal with "tips and toast," a hearty appetizer. Our oldest son had the bunkhouse chicken (photo) and devoured it. My husband and I had the salmon, large portions, and it was delicious. Our other son had the filet and said it was cooked to perfection and gone so fast I could not take a photo. The side salads were very fresh! Along with a soup or salad, they also served rolls, a choice of sides, and veggies; you won't leave hungry! Love supporting a local business vs a franchise chain!

Joey took great care of us for a wonderful dinner tonight. The meat is Angus certified and tastes delicious. my burger and my husband’s rare tenderloin with French fries came out hot and were one of the best meals we’ve ever had!

Amazing taste and fresh food. Friendly service. Great atmosphere. They have areas you can sit to see TV and other areas more quiet. There is outside sitting. They use Colorado Beef. I had the green soup and the sirloin dinner. Also the cheesecake which handmade. They have several other homemade desserts. We will be back again and again.

AMAZING place to eat! I’m from West Virginia and we came into town for Country Jam! We had a lovely waitress named Cindy, would 100% recommend to anyone in the area!!

Love this local place. Amazing breakfasts with some incredible green chili. First time I went there for dinner and very much enjoyed it. Family was happy as well. Menu was great. Staff was incredible. Great local spot and highly recommend it.

Absolutely the best breakfast in the Grand Valley! My wife and I are mature (old!)😁 and could be considered food critics. We finished an amazing breakfast and walked to the car realizing we could not find even one (1) thing substandard! The service was great, the food was amazing, and it seems inflation hasn't even caught-up to them yet. The meal and service was very reasonably priced! We hope they do well because we are going to become regulars!!!

I have yet to be disappointed in the food served here. Breakfast is delicious and so are the mimosas! The atmosphere of this place is wholesome and just feels good. The reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the wait has always been longer than expected.

Such a nice surprise to find this little gem of a restaurant! The menu is so hard to pick from. Everything we ordered was spot on and perfect. We actually stayed an extra day in the area so we could get another meal there. Service and atmosphere were wonderful too! Don’t cheat yourself by neglecting to get a cocktail or two while you are there. Their Bloody Mary’s were out of this world. We will be back!
