Went to Steak and Shake twice over the weekend. Each time, despite stressing multiple times that I wanted a #7 with NO CHEESE, I got home and found cheese on my burger. Did I eat it? Yes, I wasn't about to drive all the way back there. This happens at Wendy's often too. Why is it so hard to get people to understand the words NO CHEESE!!!! Steak and Shake your food is good. Service is pretty slow. And attention to details need some work.
Haven't been here in a long time. Tried the burger and fries with grilled onions. Pretty good.
Was given food with old cheese in it today when I called to make a complaint the manager told me that I was wrong and that there was no way that it was possible. Well after giving me a disgusting meal I can't eat and then a disgusting attitude on top of it I'll definitely never be back I got pictures of it too I even reheated it and somehow the cheese is still solid. crazy.
It has changed over the years! You don't get waited on anymore. Just like ordering at any other fast food burger joint. You order at the kiosk now and get your own drinks. Food was great!
Fresh and hot. One of the best steak n shakes I've eaten at, and I've been to a lot!
I stopped by this Steak N Shake and the experience was a bit strange. Instead of having waiters, you have to order at the counter and then go pick up your meal. I tried one of their burgers and it was okay, however the portion was smaller than I expected. Not only that, but now they have a bubble riser top on the cup to supposedly top off the shake with whip cream, which it never does. It's always below the edge of the cup. It's like they expect customers to not notice - but I definitely did. Although the place was clean and the staff was nice it's hard to overlook the downsides. Definitely not the same vibe as a regular steak n' shake.
Got drive through, order taker was rude, chili tasted burnt, both burgers had a bad taste to them I ate 2 bites threw the rest away. Only thing that tasted good were ff and shake. Very disappointed use to love Steak and Shake
