We haven't been here for a couple of years so we wanted to try it again. it was definitely better than expected. You order your own food from a kiosk and they have self service drinks which I think is better, you can get a refill when you want.
Pretty decent for fast food. Tends to be really greasy but the overall flavor is quite good. I lean towards the Frisco Melt most of the time. They do a really good job with that and I would highly recommend that burger. The fries are good enough, nothing spectacular but perfectly serviceable. Recommend with cheese. The shakes are fantastic. Any that I've ever had have been great. Not a huge fan of the self service kiosk but that won't stop me from going back. Service has always been good. Fun atmosphere. One of the better fast food experiences in that regard.
My first experience at Steak and Shake was awful. The automated order system is way too confusing. Ordered steak combo with milkshake. The shake was ready almost immediately. Shake was almost gone before meal was ready. Steak sandwich had no taste, even fries were bland. Won't go again.
I love Steak and Shake for the last 40 years. However I hope this is seen by management and corporate. I use to work night shift and watched how other Steak and Shakes cleaned their floors and they looked much cleaner than this location. Please shut down at night to clean your floors more. I could put a little bleach foam and get these right. Second the mold around your air vents are in clear violation of health codes. If you see my reviews I give good ones to restaurants and managers that take pride in keeping the places clean and a pleasure to eat in. This location needs a complete renovation all the way to the bathrooms that have a permanent stench. Please make a change here.
Honestly how can you say anything bad about burgers and milkshakes? It's consistently good. It was nice to see the expanded milkshake options on the kiosk menu.... Not a fan of the kiosk ordering and we couldn't get the app to work....but that's the present and future....
Sure do miss the old Steak&Shake. I absolutely hate the kiosk system. We should get a discount. Next they'll have us cooking our own burgers. I had forgotten why I don't eat here anymore after the Plandemic.
I don't know how you can eat the food here. It's just soaked in grease to the point it runs out. Why wrap the food in anything put it in a cup with a straw. Absolutely nasty
This location is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! They made food for our entire dealership on multiple occasions. Food is ALWAYS fresh and well packaged. The managers and staff are SUPER FRIENDLY. Thank you for taking care of us😍😍
