The service here was not good. There was no one to take our order. The order had to placed on a kiosk. The operation of the self order kiosk was confusing. It 3 attempts to get the machine to accept my order. The food was good and served hot and very quickly. The burger basket was reasonably priced. The fries were tasty and served hot. The milkshake was large and a very good price because it was "happy hour". The restaurant was clean and neat.

Great burgers but incredibly slow service despite there being almost no one in the restaurant. Chef way too slow. Manager did apologize. Don’t recommend if you’re on a lunch break with time restrictions.

First time having steak and shake while visiting Florida. They are understaffed at Oldsmar and had a sign at the drive thru. Took 34 mins with only 4 cars in front of me to get my meal. The burger and shake was pretty good, but the fries were over salted and not sure if that's how it's suppose to be, but I couldn't enjoy it. Everyone had to wait as they rolled up, but there's a sign that says they will be with us as soon as they can. The car infront of me waited for 2 mins and said "hello!". The staff yelled back "ill get to you when I get to you" and waited another 3-4 mins.

Good food but they really need to clean up the place. Floors are sticky and the restrooms are very messy. Use a little clorox mixed with what ever cleaner you use. That will make the place smell better and have cleaner none sticky floors. Other than that. The employee's were great and professional.

Steak & Shake used to be great, but no longer. This goes for all Steak & Shaked. They overreacted for Covid and kept their dining room closed far too long, well after all other restaurants opened. Now you have to order at a kiosk and then go get your food when it's ready. The Steak& Shake I grew up with died with Covid. Not because of Covid, but because of corporate decisions. RIP

$12 for a single burger meal and a shake. The shake cup isn't even full, when asked about it I was given a line about how a machine dispenses the sake and he can't fill it up, but hey, at least he added more whipped cream because that what I ordered, a whipped cream shake. On top of that, with the over priced and shorted food, I can't even get a barbecue pack to go with my fries without paying EXTRA! Sorry I don't like ketchup, so your unlimited amount you offered me won't do me any good.

I worked here for over 5 years. I haven't eaten there in years. My now grown son and I were craving one of their famous shakes and burgers. After all, there's no better burger or shake than Steak N' Shake. Apparently, SNS changed a few years ago. Didn't expect this much of a change! Very disappointed. Almost all entries, sides, drinks, desserts, sandwiches were taken off the menu . There isn't even a menu. You order it yourself inside on a touch screen. You can't add or remove any condiments. The few staff they have weren't friendly. They were once outstanding, not tasting like any other place. Burger meat doesn't have that real SNS beef flavor. No longer a friendly, lighthearted uplifting atmosphere. Very impersonal and kinda depressing. Bring the life back to Steak N' Shake.

Pro tip #1 (all Steak and Shake locations): If you dine in and order a shake you might want to take with you when you leave, tell the staff and they'll put it in a to-go cup. Dine-in shakes come in a fancy frosted glass. Pro tip #2 (specific to this location): Men's restroom's paper towel dispenser only spits out about 4 inches of paper towel at a time. Go into the handicap stall to get about 10 inches of paper towel per interval. 🙂 Burger, fries, drink, and shake for about $10. Food is somewhat edible. Sweet tea was very fresh. Strawberry shake was amazing 🤩 Staff got my shake and another customer's shakes confused. Took a little extra time, but they corrected the problem.
