I ordered a burger it was amazing, I ordered a chocolate shake and I could hardly taste any chocolate in it. The floor was super sticky, some tables were absolutely disgusting, and the woman’s bathroom had used toiletries on the floor. Other than that the food was fresh and tasted yummy.
Such good food!! Unfortunately we don’t have a steak and shake in grand haven/spring lake, so it’s always nice to stop by when I’m visiting the mall in grandville!!! The garlic steak burger was so good, and definitely helped fuel my drive home!! My boyfriend and I also were each able to download the app and get a free milkshake as our first reward, so that was an awesome perk!! I’m surprised it wasn’t more busy in there, because that was honestly the best burger I’ve had from a fast food restaurant in a long time!! Plus, the employees were super friendly and made us feel welcomed!! Definitely will be coming back:)
Super oldies diner feel with a great food selection. The food was nongreasy and the service was great! Although we did self-order as no one worked the front and the AC was cranked up high, it was a great place to dine.
Steak & Shake doesn't disappoint. The food was fresh and accurate as we ordered it. Self serve kiosk are a nice feature. Restaurant was clean.
First of all I always hate their food here because it's always disgusting but we still go because my girlfriend likes it. This one was absolutely fantastic. Not to mention, there was a guy who came in while we were eating, clearly had a couple of screws loose, but none-the-less was upset about an experience he had days prior, in the same store. I was astonished by how common professional the manager was that had a conversation with him, talked about how he was sincerely sorry, and give the guy a free meal. Absolutely fantastic. The tall, male manager that was working today 5-27-23 around lunch, is saving your company!
Place was clean , fast service, burguers were fresh and a really good taste , French Fries wasn't fully cooked and the onions rings were mushy. Nutella shake was very good it had a good amount of Nutella on it
Great food. Slow service. Lies told by staff but staff was nice and polite. Online ordering is irrelevant. Staff standing around in the back joking during dinner rush with a full dining room but almost no one has food. Shakes given out 25 minutes before the food came. We ordered online. It said 20 minutes and call when you arrive. When we got there they would not answer the phone. So we went in. Place was packed but no one was eating. Staff messing around. A teenager tells me that orders placed online don't update in the system for 30 minutes so that wait time of 20 minutes online is really more like 50 minutes. Also told me that they tend to fill the orders in the lobby before the orders that come in online no matter what order they come in or what time you place them. Basically the staff told me that placing the order online is irrelevant because they won't make it in that order anyway.
We arrived on Sunday at 9, we were seated right away. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, banana pancakes, the skillet breakfast and kids meal chicken nuggets and fries with a chocolate shake. Food arrived timely, was fresh, pretty good. My nephew loves their special seasoning that sits on the table by the salt. I tried it and it was pretty good. Shake looked great! Service was good, nice and not slow. This is a good Steak n Shake, and I've been to several. As a bonus, kids under 12 eat free on weekends when the accompanying adult(s) spend over $9. (Doesn't include kids drink or dessert, only their kids plate.). Pretty clean place.
