So disappointed this Saturday morning with our dining experience. We’re here celebrating a beautiful weekend together at the lake. The wait staff was friendly, but overwhelmed with the amount of customers. There were 4 other groups of customers that came in after us that received their food before us. We waited over an hour to be served simply soup, sandwich and an omelette. When our food arrived the order wasn’t correct. My BLT came on White instead of Wheat and the bacon wasn’t fully cooked. My husband ordered an Omelette with onions and there were no onions. I had asked for hot tea and they had no tea bags or lemons. Sorry to say we won’t be coming back the next time we’re at the lake.

So, the food was pretty good. However, we got there at around 11 am on Saturday, a busy time for them. It took over an hour to get our food. The servers were nice and friendly and kept up with our drinks. However, the wait was rather annoying. It seems like they are very understaffed , so it's not %100 their fault. But still not the best experience.

Late Fri lunch. Picked at random. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. An odd entrance thru a side door. Quirky Americana decor. Seating at tables, booth and counter. Prompt friendly service from a large menu. B'fast available all day. We chose a club sandwich and cheese omelette. Problem number 1: $2.50 for an 8oz ice tea with no refill is obscene. Problem number 2: using the stale heel of the bread loaf for the club sandwich bottom is poor presentation. The sandwich broke up as soon as I picked it up. The food itself was good. The fries were outstanding. The Diner is up for sale. So change is already in the works. We enjoyed the meal. My curiosity was really picqued by the radio station sign across the street.

great casino experience . The food was great . Had the French Onion soup it was delicious. The burger was well made with good fresh toppings. Our server was very friendly and on point .

My friends, and I stopped here for a quick break while in the area, we sat down to enjoy a hot cup of some thing, and a quick bite to eat. The table we sat at is right, smack in the middle of the place, it felt a little bit crowded. However, the food was great, classic diner, food. The staff was very friendly and welcoming And the service was quick. Definitely would recommend for a great Diner experience!

Delicious lunch! My husband and I were visiting the covered bridges in the area and stopped at the State Street Diner for lunch. The food was delicious! The service was outstanding! We had sandwiches, fries and mac salad. The owner was so friendly - we really enjoyed our conversation! He even brought us out pancakes for dessert - best pancakes we have ever eaten hands down! We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Neat local eatery with an interesting history that can be read about on the back of the menu. We had the Ruben and lake Erie perch. The fries were delicious.
