"Welcome Home" is what you'll hear from the lovely owners mouth when you first walk in. Whether you're a party of one or twenty they make you feel special. The food is off the charts, so good. It's high vibrational love food. The decor is perfect it makes me feel like I stepped into an authentic restaurant in India. I highly recommend Buffett. I've eaten Indian food all over the country and this is one of my top two restaurants it's tied with Star of India in Austin Texas.
I was searching for all south Asian dishes. I thought this is the one but for me it’s not like what I expected all over I can give 5/5 only for kheer sweet and mango sweet. Kabul Chenna or chickpeas also good. But why most items are not hot ? It’s just a rice for me not biryani! However it’s 75% occupied even on Monday buffet at 11 to 2 pm all 7 days with 17$ I ordered mango lassis just like just total 24$ ? I didn’t question them. Sardar ji welcome’s home all sir/darling/dear/honey 😜 I do like naan 🫓 and meat balls I mean it’s a lamb meat I just tried it and they do serve beef curry too. Overall worthy only for price not for taste. Finally I drove back to banana leaf. It’s just for me because it’s like 80% occupied when I walk out of course most people like it.
Star Of India has been serving delicious food with considerable choices for years. No matter when you are likely to dine-in, they are consistent with every dish. Service is also very important to this restaurant, so you will be gladly welcome in seated & served as you should when dining out. With the buffet 7 days a week from 11-2:45 you can't go wrong with this value on such a hidden gem. India food done right try them today.
The people who work here are friendly and lively. They’re glad to be working there. That’s the first thing you’ll notice. The second thing you’ll notice is all of the people eating there. That’s always a good sign. Then you’ll see all their awards which I saw date back to at least 2003. That’s very impressive. They served us our food quickly and even gave us some ice cream to go with it. Food was amazing. As you can see from the picture, there was a lot of it. My wife and I were able to eat three times apiece. You don’t get that kind of a good value everywhere anymore. That’s very admirable that even now when everything costs more and you get less this place is still doing their best to give you a big meal.
This was a great Google find. I was traveling across the country with gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions, which they easily accommodated. They were amazing and friendly and the food was delicious. I felt really happy and relaxed. The only downfall is it's too far away from my home to visit regularly.
This is such a hidden gem. The first thing you will hear when you walk in is, “Welcome Home.” The staff is very helpful and personable. The food is top tier. Be prepared for a flavor bomb. Every meal is packed with flavor and strong seasonings. The mango mojito is a hit if you want a sweet kick. Ask for a to-go box! Family feasting for two. Do not forget to order the Cheese Naan - it’s unreal. Butter Chicken for the prime!
Service is excellent, they were very attentive and constantly refilling our drinks. We had the Chefs special and Chicken saagwala. It was all delicious, my only complaint is the y chicken saagwala was a small bowl with about 5 pieces of chicken . It’s the bowl on the plate, shown in picture. 16.95, honestly, just get the chef special. Overall it was good, would return but would definitely stick the chefs special
Exceptional staff and service. As soon as you enter, you are greeted and made to feel very welcome. The food is great, the perfect amount of flavor on everything. Will definitely be coming back.
