User Reviews

I recently visited Stanford Grill in Owings Mills for the second time, and I must say, my experience was much improved compared to my first visit. Initially, I was hesitant to return after not enjoying the crabcakes during my first visit. Being a Marylander, I take my crabcakes seriously, and unfortunately, they had a strange aftertaste despite having plenty of crab meat. However, I decided to give Stanford Grill another chance because of their phenomenal Caesar salad. It truly is one of the best Caesar salads I have ever tasted, and adding chicken to it was a delicious choice. I must admit, the salad alone was worth the visit. During my second visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service provided by our waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience more enjoyable. The food itself was pretty good as well. Although I am not usually a fan of pasta, I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta with meatballs. One aspect that I feel could be improved upon is the pricing. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, and I believe they could work on adjusting their prices to better align with the quality of the food. Overall, I would rate the food at Stanford Grill about 7 out of 10, the service an exceptional 9 out of 10, and the aesthetics of the restaurant a solid 6 out of 10. It is definitely a place I would recommend for a date night with your spouse. Thank you, Stanford Grill, for the improved experience during my second visit. I appreciate the delicious Caesar salad and the attentive service. I will consider returning in the future.

I have to rewrite this review. Every time I go to this restaurant my food is awesome. The service is always top notch. My husband loves the Chicken Pot Pie, and his Tuna sashimi was great too. I had the fried Chicken salad and clam chowder. Desert both times was wonderful. Can't wait to go back. This is my new go-to-spot. They also make a great Old Fashion.

Very good ambiance. Our hostess was polite and professional. Asked one of the older hostess a question and stared at us like, “why are you talking to me” and gave us the one moment hand and walked off. Totally understand you may be busy but could be more polite. We had a waitress and waiter in training with us and everything went well except, when we had to asked for a glass 3x for our drinks. Food was very good in my opinion. We got the rattlesnake pasta and the chicken parmigiana. Not salty at all which is a huge plus for my pallet.

I went here for a nice lowkey birthday celebration with my wife and wasn't disappointed. We had the rockfish and some cocktails and everything was prepared well. We finished the night off with dessert and it was delicious. My wife really enjoyed it.Our waiter, Dan, was also tremendous and even entertained my terrible jokes. A great time overall.

I’ve visited twice - lunch and dinner. Great service and pretty good food. Some things better than others. Everything in the pics was on point!

Dominique and Ms. Lisa was wonderful. The food was amazing. I had the grilled rainbow trout with mash potatoes, spinach, and greens beans. My mother had the rattlesnake paste with asparagus. We also had a peach martini and long island drink.

I’ll pile on about how amazing this place it. Really good service and just amazing food. I ordered the ribs and it was so much, I was convinced we have to take some of it home. All of it was eaten there - it was that good. Beware about the desserts. They are delicious. But absolutely gigantic.

Great experience! My best friend took me here for my birthday and I was blown away with the wonderful service, food and whole ambiance of the restaurant. The salmon, fiesta eggrolls and ceasar salad were all amazing! The Maui Mai Tai was a hit.
