Great place to grab a garbage plate. We were visiting inlaws in town and stopped here for the first time for takeout. Big portion for takeout and vegetarian options for the plate meant I was happy. Mac salad was homemade and delicious, I just wished more than two sides could be picked like some other garbage plate stops. We'll be back if we're out this way again!
Had one of the worst fish fry specials ever from here yesterday. Ordered a side of French fries and coleslaw, and those were awful too. The amount of French fries I got was for a small child and the coleslaw tasted like wet bag salad with no flavor. The fish fry itself was so small with very little meat to it. To top it all off, the food was cold. For $16.99, I would have expected better. I've ordered this meal before and it blew my socks off it was so good! The fish was the size of my arm, good helping of fries and flavorful coleslaw. Last night was a huge disappointment! I will think twice about ordering a fish fry from here again.
This was our first time dining here but we will definitely be back. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. It was hard to choose what to order, everything sounded great. Can't wait to try other things. Traditional garbage plate was great though.
Good food but ridiculously greedy ownership. Get a garbage plate and they’ll charge you for condiments. Want tater tots instead of home fries? An extra $2 even though they’re both potatoes and deep fried, give me a break
We can’t say enough positive comments about Spencerport Hots. We had them cater my son’s graduation yesterday and they were amazing. From our first email/text to book, the correspondence up until the party and day of, great customer service. And the set-up and food….. AMAZING. My family and I for sure will be using them future forward!!
I moved to Florida years ago, and I come back to Rochester every summer. I make sure I stop at Spencerport Hots and grab the best plate in town. Great ownership. Great food ,
Really friendly and patient staff! Baked beans were sweet/not spicy, mac salad had good flavor (and no celery which is key), and the hotdogs were perfectly grilled. The meat sauce on top had a little kick - just enough, but wish they had given more of it. The bruschetta salad was unique and fresh.
Doesn't matter what I order or the time I go with my family. The food, atmosphere, and service is always above great. Went there last week had their tuscan spinach wrap tasteful meal
