Breakfast Menu "Smokey Mo's BBQ" Cedar Park

8-22-22 at 5:30pm- Food was great. 3-meat combo and 2 sides: Ribs, brisket and pork loin with pinto beans and potatoe salad. Added: mac n cheese, green beans and banana pudding. Sweet tea to drink. Young lady working behind the counter was awesome! Greeting everyone walking in and when leaving, having conversations with everyone and remembering names, helping carry tray out for customer, walked dining room to check on everyone asking how everything was and if needed any to-go stuff. She's part of reason I'd come back! She was doing most stuff herself and with a happy-go-lucky attitude, loved it! Black shirt, I assume was manager, not greeting as he was walking around, occasionally.

Thigh, wing and leg were moist/perfect. Breast was dry. Overall still a good meal!

Delicious and nearby! How much luckier can my family be. I’ve been enjoying Smokey Mo’s for 15 years. Every location nails it! The brisket and chicken here is every bit as good as some of the most expensive places in Austin. No need to over-spend! Thank you Smokey Mo’s for being a part of Austin and and always serving it up! Yummy!

We eat there often. Their menu is excellent and the food we get to eat is 'always' delicious! I'd love to see them bring back their burgers and fries. Their burgers and fries tasted better than all of the other restaurants!!!

The quality of the food and service is amazing. I’ve been going to Smokey Mo’s for years, but recently ordered delivery for the first time. I received my order quickly and everything was perfect, as always.

Went here today stood looking at the menu about 10 minutes. No one greeted us or asked if they could take our order. One couple was there eating on a Friday night so that pretty much told me everything I needed to know.

So we tried the barbecue at a different place outside our regular rotation that my other half wanted to try. We were disappointed. The brisket was bland at best. For me, I have had better from a Costco refrigerator meal. Same for the sausage. The pork ribs lacked favor. The ribs honestly reminded be of tamale meat, but less flavor. I tried to improve on the flavor with the barbecue sauce, but unfortunately it provided no help. The green beans were no better. The best thing out of the bunch for me was the boiled red potatoes. You could tell the potatoes were boiled in salt water and tender. The staff were kind, patient, helped navigate the menu options quite well, and though empty, was clean. When we entered, there was a bit of a rush, which the team handled quite well for a 8:15 PM visit. So.. if most barbecue is too spicy for you (like Salt Lick, Terry Black’s, or Southside) then this may be an option for you.

Convenient and close to the house, the food here does not disappoint. We have had the sliced brisket sandwhiches and they are some of the best out there. They have a variety of selections and although its a bit pricy (more than Rudy's...definitely worth trying. The best thing about Smokey Mo's is the Mac and Cheese! We sometimes go for just that! It's AMAZING!
