Nice selection of burgers and shakes. Kinda pricey but isn't that all burger spots now? I would recommend this place

We had the unfortunate timing, we came in half an hour before closing. The lady that took our order was less than cordial about taking our order. They missed one of our kids orders so we had to make another order. On top of that we order drinks and she never rang them up for the adults. We had to ask multiple times for the cups on the kids meals. Most of the tables were dirty, which I get it's almost closing time. After we order I watched as they turned customers away because our order would take them past closing time. The food was sloppy and lacked any real flavor. It might be a long time before we go to another Smash Burger.

This restaurant has been more then pleasant. My lady and I had come in here so that we can enjoy the unique concept of there Smac & Cheese Smash Burger and this particular experience was somewhat of a roller coaster. It begin with our orders not being correct. I chose not to complain about the order, because I am not much for complaining in general. However, after taking a couple bites from my burger, I had noticed that the beef patty had more pink than I would be comfortable with (to expound, it was still bleeding). I cordially brought this matter to the manager, Kat, and she was more than solicitous in her response, by redoing the order, which I would like to add, resulted in a beautiful presentation. She went above and beyond in ensuring that the food was good and followed up without any disparagement, as a true leader and great manager. I understand how food service workers are under pressure during busy hours, when they hoping to work getting orders out in a timely manner. Everyone had done a great job and I thank them all for the phenomenal experience.

I got the single AVOCADO BACON CLUB BURGER. I ordered it with no bun. The order came as expected, but it was an unremarkable burger. It was nothing special. The service was fine, but the burger is not worth the money. It was kind of bland and boring for having the extra toppings. I felt like this was a $5 burger, at most. And when you can go to a real restaurant and get a wonderful 1/2 lb burger with fries for $10-14, that has all of the fixings and all of the flavor, this burger is not worth it. Burgers should have flavor without having to add a sauce or bun.

Thought the understaffing was just limited to the Roseville location but I guess not. Fast casual HAS TO BE FAST. Burger wasn't warm by the time it got to me. Come on. You wouldn't have to be perpetually looking for help if you actually paid people decent AND staffed the stores at an adequate level. Should have turned around and walked away when I saw the "please be patient" sticker on your front door. What changed? Y'all weren't like this before.

The prices reflect a quality burger and shakes. What we received was neither. The Reese's shake was just white, no Reese. I asked the employee about this and was told this is how they look ( it was literally white), Not as advertised via Uber, which showed chunks of Reese's. The fries weren't done well; they were limp and undercooked. The burger was okay, not great, just ok, and for 10$ a burger, I would expect better. Won't be back.

Food was decent, service not so much. Bigger lady with a piercing said “one question on the screen.” It asked for a tip. I didn’t tip - what above and beyond service was provided? $13 for a burger - fast food. You choose where you work. She then stated “thanks for the tip” knowing that I didn’t. Manipulation much? If you want tips go work as a server or deliver a exceptional service.

Burgers are dry and plain, nothing to get excited about, the French fries are not too bad. But the milk shakes are fabulous, that was the best part of my meal.
