We came to the Smash in Castle Rock today and wanted to use a coupon for BOGO and was told they don’t accept those coupons. The cashier stated his manager is not accepting the coupons because he did not sign up for them. Was unwilling to get a manger to come talk to us and didn’t not take the coupon either. If anyone in Castle Rock has these coupons be aware they are not accepting them and won’t please the customer by honoring them either.
Used to love smash burger and haven’t been since Covid. Food is now flavorless and unseasoned. Employees all have attitude and made the order wrong not once, not twice, but three times. When we asked for it to be corrected, it was met with an eye roll and silence. Save your money and go to another burger joint in town. If I was the manager, I’d be extremely embarrassed. Minimum wage workers doing minimum wage effort work.
Mike took our order and gave us a wonderful and excellent service. Food was delicious and the strawberry dragon fruit and the lemonde turmeric juice were so delicious. I also recommend the smash fries 🙂.
The menu has changed since the last time I enjoyed a smash burger. However, service is still out of sight, and they helped me order what I like. So this made me super happy.
PARENTS BEWARE! Came to smashburger with my daughter. Ordered her the kids cheeseburger meal. Asked for ketchup mustard and pickles on it. They deleted the kids cheeseburger meal off the register and started a build your own (adult). Was told you can't add condiments to a kids meal. They then were going to charge extra for fries and drink. So don't come here with kids if they like ketchup on their burger and think you can get a kids meal.
I had not been to smash burger in a long time and I took a friend for his birthday today because he had never tried smash burger. When I approached the cashier she acted as if she was not happy to see me and I have never seen this young lady before a day in my life, but what she did afterwards really bothered me and I had to call her out on her behavior. Their was a rug by my table and she came over their with a broom and started sweeping the rug and sweeping all the dirt towards me. I looked at her and was wondering why she was being so inconsiderate towards me. Finally I said to her, I'm allergic to dirt and dust and your sweeping it towards my face and our table. Then she said oh I'm sorry and I said why would you do that to me. I'm wondering if it was because I'm black. She frowned when I walked in the door then she sweeps dust towards my face and table. It was all on purpose,. I hope you have cameras so you can look at the footage and see what I'm talking about. It was sad. I almost asked for my money back and left. Seriously. This Smash Burger is located right by the outlet stores. We arrived around 6:30p on a Sunday night and there was a decent line. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to order our food. The brussel sprouts we're tasty and the burgers we're about average. Clean location, decent prices.
Quick bite after the museum. Five people ate and everyone had different ratings, from 3 to 5 Stars. I ordered the Avocado Bacon Club and asked the cashier if it was any different than the Bacon Smash, cashier just nodded his head. Burger was good, fries were great and fountain coke was perfectly blended. Restrooms were clean. We did ask attendant to clean our outside table which he very quickly did. Masks are a must and Social Diatancing is required. Enjoy!!!
