Local place with great burgers and seasoned fries. I found the kids working there to be courteous and helpful and the Angus burgers very good. They have their signature burgers but you can get your own specific burger like a bacon-swiss burger as well.
I enjoy the burger with caramelized onions and sweet potato fries. I wish they would add a bottled root beer option.
Despite my other go-to burger favorites in the Somerville-Bridgewater area, I've been drawn to Smashburger burger spot the last few weeks for lunch. The online order/pick up is convenient especially when you are trying to get a quick lunch in a small window of time but need to drive 10min each way to get here. The burgers are freshly made and you can taste the difference.
So yummy! Their black bean burger is by far the best I've found dining out. Love all the options to customize your burger. Yummy fries and shakes. I'm impressed with how courteous and professional the staff is each and every time. Great spot!
Went to get food here today. Waited 27 minutes for a burger to go. When the 27 minute mark hit, my burger or at least what should have been my burger was given to someone that was 7 people behind me in line. I left without my food because I had to go back to work. I get that lunch time is probably the busiest time of day for this restaurant and today it was slammed. However, here are some suggestions that may make the place run a bit better. Staffing seems to be an issue at this restaurant. It seems like that there are not enough people working in the kitchen or handling the orders that need to be bagged and/or brought to tables. Similarly, the person running the register probably shouldn't be making milkshakes. It's counter productive. It seems that there should another person doing shakes and helping with orders as well. It seems like that the flow from start to finish in this restaurant is off. It seems that there is a kink in the works for processing orders quickly and efficiently.
Food was okay; however the burger quality was on par with another fast food burger chain boasting square patties. For the price and taste I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the two. The large fry is nearly 5$ and one would hope for that price the fries might be hand cut or at least fresh instead of frozen. Again the fries are comparable to those from McDonalds. I wouldn’t want to go again.
I ordered the Smoke shack burger Although the toppings were plentiful, the burger was dried out and overcooked. This certainly was not a freshly cooked burger. Tasted as if it had been cooked earlier and reheated. Was very disappointed. Luckily I ordered a vanilla shake which was decent.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great food. Perfectly cooked burgers as well as fresh toppings and different options for personal customization. The smash fries are a must! Tossed in olive oil, garlic and rosemary, a journey your taste buds will never forget. Fairly clean. Walt very busy when I went with my girlfriend. We definitely enjoyed ourselves from the moment we walked in to the moment we finished eating and walked out.
