This is such an iconic place in Key West and a must visit. The atmosphere is superb with live music and a friendly vibe. Our server was exceptional and took great care of us. I had the classic sloppy joe while my brother had a pizza. All the food and drinks were perfect. You can't go to the Keys without stopping in here

A must visit during your Key West trip. The atmosphere is always fun with live music. Every time I go it’s packed. Tough to get a drink sometimes so you really have to squeeze in to belly up to the bar. I got the legendary Sloppy Joe sandwich because “when in Rome” I thought I had to. While it was quick to come out and piping hot it was just OK. I guess I expected a little more spice to it. It was very very sweet and not that impressive.

In 1986, I walked into Sloppy Joe’s & thought I’d sure like to come back here when I’m grown up. Well, I did & glad I did. It was so much fun. We had beers & cocktails that were fabulous. Sloppy Joe’s Island Beer was a great easy drinking beer. The staff was wonderful & our bartender was from Bloomington & his wife was from Indy. It was nice to be served by a fellow Hoosier. Also, he was kind enough to let me just a step or two behind the bar for a picture of the both of us. Be ready for a place that’s busy busy & a bit of a wait for a table. One has to have an eagle eye when trying to snag a spot at the bar. I suggest a seat at the bar if for anything to have a drink possibly where Earnest Hemingway sat for a drink on many of occasions. The gift shop is a nice spot too. The shirts are well made & very reasonably priced. I was so happy to cross having a visit at Sloppy Joe’s off my bucket list.

Place was hoppin! Large menu with tons of choices. Live Music playing and folks singing along and dancing! Large dining area. We ordered one of the specialty cocktails-Key West Storm. A bit strong and not very tasty. But that’s just us. We are not big drinkers of the liquors mixed in. Overall a fun place to be while out exploring!

My 2nd visit. 1st was back in 1997. The bartender was actually working there back then...since 1993 she said. Her service was excellent... full of smiles- made my daughters and I feel right at home. Unfortunately, i can't recall her name...so sorry 😐. Buffalo wings were to die for. Nothing physically had changed about the structure or look of this place... no need to!!!! Keep up the excellent service and fun times!

The service was top-notch. The drinks, food, and prices were surprisingly good for being one of the most popular tourist spots on the island. I was very positively surprised by how well they run the entire establishment. I was there with the whole family several times for lunch and dinner during our stay, which never disappointed us. They have decent pizza for picky kids. Plus, they have great live music all day long.

Iconic spot to stop for a drink and listen to some live music. Plenty of seating for our 13 person family. The Original Sloppy Joe sandwich is very tomatoey and tasty. Cajun fries are well seasoned up and have some nice kick. And the Sloppy Joe Island Ale was crisp and refreshing on a 100+ degree day.

Sloppy Joe's is definitely a must when going to Key West. It is definitely one of our favorite places to hang out when visiting Key West. The location is perfect in the middle of all the action. They always have a band up on stage. They are always busy, but we always manage to get a table. They usually have seats at the bar as well. The staff and atmosphere are awesome. We have never been disappointed. They make you feel like a local from the moment you step foot in the building. We enjoy the drinks and apps here. My husband loves their conch fritters, and I love their key lime pie. It's a great place to have drinks and relax. Restrooms are to the left of the stage. It may be hard to see when it's so busy. Restrooms are always clean. They have a small gift shop just off to the side of the bar. We have to buy a t shirt every time we go. Their merchandise is priced reasonably. If you are in Key West, you will not regret stopping in and enjoying a good cocktail and some great appetizers. It is also a great place to stop by and hydrate and listen to some good music.
