The best thing about this place is the view! We had a window seat and a clear day to see three bridges that span the bay: Richmond-San Rafael, Golden Gate, and the Bay Bridge; and all the landmarks in-between. The second best is the service, 5-stars. Professional, pleasant and polite. We visited for a Wednesday lunch and arrived at opening time, 11:30 am. They promptly opened the doors at 11:30 am and not before. It was not crowded for the spacious seating capacity available. The food was good with the potential to be great. The fried calamari was flavorful but the breading was soggy fresh out of the kitchen. I loved the crab sandwich but found it extremely rich, a bit too rich. The sandwich and shrimp with grits were good. I was disappointed with the chocolate cake. It had a weird gummy texture and no melting chocolate inside. It was topped with fresh whipped cream that had an off flavor that tasted like it was just starting to turn bad. I would recommend avoiding this dessert.

Phenomenal experience that I was able to share with an old business partner. Great view, and the food was excellent. Service was superior and we had a great seat in order to see the sunset and the beautiful bay with sailboats. You could not tell that it was a windy evening on the water, which is not unusual. we were able to enjoy an excellent meal from beginning to end. Wine was spectacular and the seafood was lovely with only incident was the bus hit spilling sauces and water on me when he clear the table but the waitress handled it well and so did I. We moved tables and enjoyed our dessert. So much food and I brought home two desserts.

The view here is beautiful. Take in the bridge, enjoy fresh seafood, and sip a cocktail. Be sure to make a reservation on the weekends and be prepared to wait. The restaurant was a bit understaffed.

This was an excellent place of dining on a Sunday afternoon. So relaxing the was delicious(Baja Salmon, dessert Key Lime Pie and Strawberry Shortcake topped with fresh strawberries Not frozen. The Diamonds n Gold cocktail as a starter adding the California Sushi Roll All made for a DELECTABLE and Superior meal. Have already encouraged others to visit when in the Berkeley/Bay area

The quality of food was ok. Portions were very small. However, the view certainly made up for that. Gorgeous views of the bay.

We visited for the first time. Visiting from Canada. Staying in San francisco. From the start, the woman at the front, older woman with glasses and short height and short hair had a rude tone and not very pleasant to speak with. The view was nice The cars and parking lot weren't safe so we had to bring everything inside with us Shady parking So park at your own risk Bathrooms were absolutely Disgusting!! I was shocked. The place was almost empty [maybe 10 tables] on a weds afternoon [3pm] but still took way too long for the food to come to the table We had to inquire several times because we literally ordered 1 seafood dish and 1 steak, and it was 45 mins later with no updates Our server was nice but not around much When we tried to get his attention he nodded or walked past us several times and didn't return But I saw him happily Check in and come to the table beside us at least 10x ...and only 2x to us.. and that too, when we made an active effort to get his attention and flag him down repeatedly every server and person there was actively avoiding eye contact when we tried asking for water or something important for our child Tables around us recieved bread.. we did not. Sushi was...ok [don't order it] The watermelon and shrimp ceviche was nice The shrimp and salmon was nice Wagyu and potatoes - we ordered medium rare and it came ice cold , as if it was sitting for the hour long wait ... and blue [nearly raw] Asked to cook it to medium so it gets warmer the second time, it was nice New Orleans bbq shrimp was ok. But $10 + tax and all other forced add-ons [mentioned below] for 3 tiny pieces of shrimp was absurd!! ALSO, if you have any dietary restrictions, please ask about the items that are 'for the table' because they come with no explanation/description and ours eventually, after 45 mins+ of waiting, showed up with things we can't eat and had to request it be fixed This added to the time we were left waiting and it took an additional 20 mins for those 3 pieces of shrimp to come back :/ The creme brulee does not have a hard sugar crust that cracks. We asked the server he said 'we don't do that here' :/ ... which was an unusual thing to say because then it's just custard, not creme brulee and should be advertised as such It looked like they didn't care and the server tried to say they don't cook the sugar more than that even though the pictures others have posted looks different It also didn't taste good DON'T order it! [Pic for reference] Key lime pie was ok. Still better than the custard in a dish. But not that much better Also! **BEWARE:** They will charge a 5% 'living wage Surcharge' [Aka 'drip pricing] They have it in tiiiiiinyyy text at the bottom stating: 'A living wage Surcharge percentage will be added to the total of your bill. This is NOT gratuity, and is NOT meant to supplement or replace the server's gratuity ' In other words, the customer pays tax, gratuity, AND for the restaurant not wanting to pay employees enough for min wage and living... but they get to keep it. Thus, it's being forcefully added as an additional amount from the customer's bill BUT that amount is NOT going to the server either! I've never seen this before and it's quite ridiculous!! The way it's added at in fine text is deceitful and the concept makes no sense either. If the fee is 'unavoidable' , then it should be added into the price of the food... not as a hidden fee with the title attempting to make it seem like it's for a 'living wage' but doesn't go to the server. So on top of the food price, which isn't cheap, you're required to pay, by force: - 5% living wage Surcharge - Tax - Gratuity [regardless of service] I've dined at restaurants around the world, of all types, and for much more than what I paid here... however the entire experience felt forced and We felt neglected and treated poorly especially when we're paying a lot for ok food and subpar service, at best. We won't be returning and would like to warn those who naively decide to dine here. There are better options. Not worth it. At all.

So, my review is pretty low. First, the location is rather beautiful with a great view. But I was disappointed on several factors. I made reservations for my husbands birthday more than a month in advance. I asked for the ocean view and hoping they gave me the view to make it special for my husbands birthday. A few hours before our arrival I called to make sure they can hopefully give me the ocean view and was told yes. When I arrived, as per stated 10 min prior to arrival, our table was not ready and they wanted to seat us else where. I said no and had to wait another 30 min just to have the ocean view. Keep in mind this is my first time and my husband first time here. While we waited which we were a party of 6, one of our friends ordered some drinks which came to appx $40.00 and some change, we gave the bartender $100 dollar bill and he only gave us $16 and some cents change. He pocketed some money… we will never pay cash again. Then, We finally were seated and I have to say the Waitress was a sweet heart but food took way too long. They kept feeding us bread and water along with drinks but even the drinks would take long. Just to get appetizers it took us more than 45 min wait after I began to complain because we had not received anything. We ordered Oysters, which were the Pacific Oysters. They were not cleaned properly and shell pieces were still in the oysters. Very unpleasant having to remove them from inside the mouth. For dinner we ordered the Mahi Mahi and the Filet Mignon. They were great but for the price, I feel it’s overpriced. So upon my final review… Careful with the bartender from keeping your money (cash) pay debit or credit so you know you aren’t getting wrong change back. Expect long delays to get your food, 45 min just for appetizers that’s not including waiting for dinner which was more than 1 hour 1/2… I stop counting. Great place if you are going maybe as a small party. Price is steep, we easily spent more than $600+… So you are paying mostly for the location than the food. It’s a beautiful location but I think they can buff out in several areas of services and food quality.

Can't beat the view, especially if you get the tables along the panoramic windows! The whole bay is lit up from the Richmond/San Rafael bridge, the Golden gate Bridge 🌉, and the whole city of San Francisco, alcatraz, and the Bay Bridge. (Check the weather for a clear night ot fog will roll in and obscure the view) . The food is amazing, especially the sushi 🍣 and their drinks are not watered-down at all! Which is another bonus! Try the prickly pear margaritas for the purple exotic and perfect touch for a night out. Very quiet and peaceful setting but in a fun way, not the strict boring way. Everyone there is well mannered and always available for extra orders to be added on and the food comes out in 15-20 minutes. I recommend this place to everyone. If you aren't trying to go to the city this is as good as it gets to doing so, without the parking and traffic hassle. If you do go to the city and want the best views and dinner, stop at nowhere else but EPIC steakhouse right under the bay bridge with great views of the pier waterfront and city skyline. 😎
