Always a local favorite. The staff was up front with us that they were short staffed and that it might be a longer wait. Once we were seated our order was taken quickly and the service was wonderful. The food is always well done.
Its decent. Tue onion rings are really excellent but should be drained a little bit more
Only been here the one time, but don’t really have a single thing to complain about. They were slow, so this could have been part of it, but waitress was on top of checking up on me, and ensuring the meal went well. Chili was more of a thick hearty chili, which I prefer. I’m not in to getting a bowl of broth with some floating pieces of meat and beans. I make mine hearty as well, so I enjoyed theirs. The hot beef was very good. Nice amount of gravy, and the beef was tender and tasted good. Would not hesitate to try this meal again. I would also be interested in seeing how they do for other meals as well. This place has my vote.
If you can get passed the dead bugs on the window seal and the cobwebs on the light. You then can enjoy a over priced frozen patty that has little to no flavor. And so over cooked hash browns. And so under cook onion rings. The services was far from great. We waited 20min. Before being seated. The place was almost empty. So I give it two stars at the max.
Update - 9/17/18 - Another good stop. Late in the day when I got there. Was seated immediately and given my drink. Server gave me some tips and I ended up settling on the pretzel burger. Great visit and I highly recommend. Recommended to eat here by a local. Food was great service was really fast. Clean. I will stop back when I am in the area. Meat lovers omelet
To say this restaurant has great customer service is an understatement. April was amazing and the food was so good. This is what makes small town restaurants stand apart from big city restaurants. Please stop in you won't be disappointed!
Sioux County Livestock Co. is part of Family Table Restaurants, a group of over a dozen family dining locations in Northwest Iowa. I have visited a few locations, but I have been to Sioux County Livestock Co. several times and it’s always good. Definitely a mom & pop feel. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the food is always great. My favorite is the ribeye steak, always a good cut of meat and perfectly prepared.
We had a very nice server. That food was excellent. The applesauce porkchop was superb!
