Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The owner is very customer oriented, helping to design a perfect meal with his recommendations based on our likes/dislikes. We really appreciated Sonny going over the menu and walking us through options. The food was very fresh, and great flavor combinations. It was also great portions for lunch. Not only was the owner attentive and caring, the service was incredibly quick, very important because we brought our active 2 year old. The atmosphere is also wonderful. Loved the idea that they have a drive through pick up (for the days with an uncooperative child). All around a great experience and we hope to get back there soon! (Not to mention we were given coupons at the end of our meal for the next visit.)
Very good sushi. If you're in the area and want sushi, you should give it a try. I hadn't been here in a while since I don't eat out as much as I used to but I was definitely not disappointed. I really like when Sonny is there to help me decide on something to order since I'm the kind of person that get s the same thing every time. Great food and service. I will be back to enjoy more for sure.
Great food and great atmosphere. Sonny always has great suggestions, and I've never had anything there that I didn't like. My husband says they have the best sushi around. I am not a sushi eater, but there is such a great selection to choose from on the rest of the menu. You won't be disappointed with your experience here!
It was my girlfriend and I first time and the owner personally sat us and gave us a taste of what was yet to come. Great sushi and great customer service. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, it takes you to the finest part of Asia where all the taste, sight and smell come together for an exquisite dining experience. It was our first time, but I plan to be a regular customer for life. Hats off to the owner for making this a memorable dining experience.
So good! On our first visit the owner, Sonny, and manager, Greg, made us feel so welcome. Sonny steered us to two specials - the Chase roll and the Crispy Sesame Chicken and Beef. Both were delicious! The crab rangoons (also a special) were quite tasty too. Next time we are in the area we definitely plan to go back.
My girlfriend is really picky with what sushi she eats, Sonny took time to sit down with her and give his opinion based and her tastes. We listened and enjoyed 2 rolls of some of most tasteful and delicious sushi we ever had. Lunch menu is full and has great value. $10 gets you a huge lunch box. This will now be a re occurring dine in for us.
Food was excellent but service was sub par at best. host was pushing specials and when we didn't order one, little attention was paid to us. Our drinks were empty for a while before someone came close enough for us to ask for a refill. We didn't get silverware or chopsticks until we asked abd we never got napkins. I would give it a second chance just because the food was good, but another service like that and we're won't be back.
Sonny serves up excellent Asian cuisine! We enjoyed crispy walnut shrimp...crisp and light on the outside, snappy, not mushy, and flavorful shrimp on the inside. Singapore's will be a definite stop next time we are in New London.
