Breakfast Menu "Silbermann's Ice Cream" San Rafael

When I’m coming from out of town I always stop here because the ice cream is great and there’s so much variety, with good customer service majority of the time. Today when I came in from out of town excited to get ice cream, one of the female employees with dirty blonde hair was chewing gum and had the nastiest attitude towards my family and I. She kept speaking to us like we were stupid and making faces to her coworkers and laughing. Definitely ruined my mood and experience there today, but the ice cream was still good!

Endless amount of ice cream we had 6 (3- 2 small scoops) and wish we had room for more in our tummy’s. Best stop on our road trip

Silbermann’s Ice Cream provides the best ice cream in the area. The residents of San Rafael are spoiled by having such high quality store available. Silbermanns has a flavor for everyone and they deliver quality with each one. The consistency of the ice cream is full bodied and doesn’t immediately disintegrate. They provide the classic flavors: chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter. They also experiment and provide unique and complex options that make me want to come back and try them all. They provide small samples to try and employ enough workers to handle any rush. This is what you love to see in an ice cream shop, well done.

The ice cream was fine, nothing terribly special. The service however.. the man serving the ice cream was rude and mildly creepy. There were three flavors that looked unique/interesting to me so naturally I asked to sample them; when I listed out the third flavor he gave me a judgmental look then gave me my sample. He then went on to tell the friend I was with that he loved her hair. Weird/unpleasant experience, will not be back.

It's been there forever n it's got the best ice cream in town ...a gem of Marin.. Adults go there n remember as children going there n now they take their children. Isn't it wonderful??? If it could be like that w so many institutions in Marin...there are some but not many... SILBERMANN'S ICE PARLOR IS SOMETHING TO BE ENJOYED N HOPEFULLY IT WILL GO ON FOR MANY YEARS...BANANA SPLITS,SUNDAES,YOU NAME IT....I HOPE EVERYBODY GOES THERE ONE TIME OR ANOTHER...THEY WONT BE SORRY...ITS CHARMING N THE HELP IS VERY FRIENDLY N POLITE...THEIR MILKSHAKES ARE AWESOME N THEY USE PAPER STRAWS...THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS JUST PLAIN CLASSY!!!

The butterscotch marble & and the praline pecan is delicious. The cups come in a drinking type cup rather than what most ice cream places use for serving cups. It wasn’t packed with customers, nor was it deserted. I got in and out of there in less than 5 minutes with on a Sunday with friendly service!

Locals best home made ice cream in San Rafael, tried different flavors way back but my go to is spumoni and banana split.

They serve the best ice cream. Very polite and patient even with a very large group. Easily 5 stars!
