This place is from the stone age. All hallways smell like piss, and the furniture in the room is so beat up. I asked if the whole property was pet friendly!!! I was assured that only the 1st floor. As i go to the elevator, a person with their dog went up right to the same floor i was in and entered a room 2 doors down from me. Not only the place sucked, but they also lied about which floors they allowed pets in. Very very disappointed with that property. I do not recommend at all.

Love to stay this place, very well connected to the highways, close to good restaurants, room are decent size. If soft closure added to doors will help to maintain the quietness which breaks when someone intentionally closes the room door with loud bang. Require some room maintenance and also need to work on AC units to maintain the consistent temperature inside room…

Always a pleasure coming here for conferences! Centrally located in the state, easy to get to and accommodating for many different types of events from a work conference to a table top exercise. Beautiful courtyard located in the center of the facility. The Bar is top shelf and the whole establishment is spotless. This place is under great management from a patron perspective… I’m curious how any of their employees feel about working there?????……

Thoroughly unpleasant stay at the Sheraton South Hartford. We arrived at 5pm for a 3pm check in and the room was not ready. Had to change in the parking lot for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Later once we got to the room itself, we found the room’s air conditioning did not work properly. It just circulated hot dry air, it was almost impossible to sleep. When we brought it up to the front desk, the staff shrugged and suggested that if we didn’t like the experience we should just go find another hotel - at 3AM. Finally, this would be a minor detail in any other case but will be mentioned because this hotel was an absolute disaster - the wifi that the hotel claimed each room had simply did not work. The hotel staff suggested that we should just come to the lobby or use a cellular hotspot (good luck with that in CT by the way). All in all - a terrible stay exacerbated by callous and at times incompetent staff. This is a budget hotel but you will get more bang for your buck if you skip this establishment and stay somewhere else.

I'm so enjoying watching this place crash and burn after how they treated me. Three different employees verified I had ambassador late checkout the day before, then at 3 AM I got hit like a ton of bricks with the flu. They then OPEN my door without knocking at 10 AM with the DND sign on the door. When I tell them I really don't appreciate it they tell me not one but three separate stories: first "nobody opened your door" second "ok we opened your door, for a wellness check" (?) and third "we heard noise" (I was dead asleep barely able to swallow or breathe in a silent room). Despite them clearly, openly contradicting themselves they then ban me permanently from the property, put notes in my rewards profile to not rent to me at other properties in the chain, then the GM, housekeeper and maintenance guy all stand around while a clearly sick as a dog person loads their luggage as if a naughty schoolchild. For no reason other than spite the manager created problems with me at other properties, and after years of staying with the brand 100+ nights a year I gave up on the entire chain. I guess you just have to wait long enough and people destroy themselves. I love to see it. My favorite recent bad review here calls it a budget property. How far they've fallen.

Where do I start. The room was disgusting. See pic of behind the TV stand. If they are too lazy the clean there, where else don't they clean? Rug was sticky, walls dirty and I watched a family with 3 dogs let them pee in the hallway all weekend. Air conditioner was set to 60, i was lucky to get it below 75. The pool was stocked with inner city kids all day and night and by the time they were done the pool was milky and unusable. It felt like a ghetto. Not worth the extremely high price tag.

Banquet service is very professional. Whatever we've asked for they were on the top of it. I recommend this place for any size event. My event planner " love noga creations" were very accommodating to any change requests even at the last minute. Thank you all.

Me and my family always stay here when on vacation. We love it! The staff is friendly, and the hotel is beautiful! Pets stay free and it's clean! It has a restaurant located in the hotel and the food and drinks were delicious! The server looked overwhelmed because of the event guest who were there. The barman was helping but it would be nice for extra help. Hotel has a pool and outside where you can sit. Don't think twice!
