Super place to have a nice, healthy lunch or dinner. Good upgrade from Subway. However, the prices are a little steep. But definitely, the sandwiches are fantastic as well as their soups. The portions they serve are very healthy in quantity. For a family of 4 or 5 it can get pricey.

Fast-forward three years! I'm taking away my five-star and giving a one-star! They don't even bother to spread tuna on your sandwich, they just plop it down with the scooper! Plus they didn't bother putting mayonnaise on my BLT two weeks before! 😡 Is that how they build their own sandwiches if they eat? I think not! If you have a complaint on their website and fill out their contact me form. I did!

Sequoia and Sequoia-to-go always seem to be on the level with a great sandwich. What makes them the best sandwich shop in Bakersfield is that they put the same attention to detail in all their small items that they do the sandwiches. The macaroni salad is some of the best in Bakersfield and their regular salads including chef salad are wonderfully put together with great attention to detail. The containers that the macaroni comes in seems to be reusable, and the employees are always pleasant. I would strongly recommend the hot ham sandwich with avocado added, and don't forget a rice crispy treat they're delicious and enormous

I had a large order for catering. My order was ready at the time they opened. Sandwiches were perfect and held up for the event. Definitely would go this route again for a large party.

Food quality is nice, this place mostly busy surround by offices so many people coming here for lunch. Opens till 2pm only.

Really good food, everything is fresh! They have online ordering and you can select to pay online or in person. This helps a lot as they are always busy and sometimes it takes some time to get your food. Also if there are any questions with your order or if they need to make substitutes they will call you at the number you provide while ordering online. Descriptions of the food, pictures, and prices are on their website.

$15.00 for a simple sandwich? Not worth the price! Staff need to get trained properly since they could not answer anything about the sandwiches
