An excellent breakfast option with amazing views of the ocean is Seaglass Restaurant at the @innbythesea.maine on Cape Elizabeth in Portland. Super fluffy Blueberry Pancakes 🫐🥞 topped with blueberry butter and Lobster topped Eggs Benny 🦞🍳 with AMAZING Hollandaise Sauce is a must get. Deck dining is available when the weather permits, and the sunrise views and lobsterboats innthe water are stunning. 🍽 Blueberry Pancakes blueberry butter | local maple syrup | powdered sugar | citrus 🍽 Eggs Benedict poached egg | canadian bacon | asparagus | hollandaise | chive | crispy potato 🍽 Cinnamon Roll | cream cheese icing 🍽 Three Egg Omelet choice of 3: mushroom | onion | pepper | spinach | tomato | asparagus | bacon | sausage | cheddar | swiss | American | crispy potato | choice of toast

Staying at the Inn and had two great breakfasts. Friendly, fast & considerate service. Update: another great breakfast. My experts said they changed the pancake recipe and it's even better than last time. Substituted chocolate chips for blueberries for one of the orders, to his delight. Berries and crispy potatoes stood out. Before closing, we ordered a lobster roll (great, even at $32) and gnocchi (just ok).

Excellent original cocktails. We went out in Portland to Blyth and Burrows and Central Provisions and the Buoy was our favorite cocktail of the weekend. Came back from Portland early for a second night at the bar, which was well-attended both days by Edwin. Breakfast was fantastic - locally sourced ingredients, well-presented with an excellent view. Mushroom and mozzarella frittata was delicious and the crispy potatoes were amazing. All around great dining experience during our stay at the hotel.

The food was good, however, it took a long time from ordering to the actual service. We were not greeted by the server, she never smiled at all, either she was new or didn’t care, and it was not busy at all so that could not have been her excuse. We were a party of seven, and it was almost embarrassing to our guests, enough so that our chances of returning are none. The scenery was quite nice, but that’s not enough to bring us back.

Everything was perfect from the food to the service. Everyone was very caring and helpful. It was a very peaceful and calm environment. The food was incredibly delicious. A place I would recommend to everyone!

Literally the best brunch I have ever had anywhere. I will be back, zero question about it. Had the smoked salmon starter, a bloody Mary, eggs Benedict, and the Mrs. had a brunch burger. Every single part of the meal had such an excellent, unexpected level of flavor. Simply fantastic.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Friendly staff. Nice views of the gardens and ocean. Small menu but it packs a punch with top-quality choices and ingredients. Great lobster roll, french toast, and breakfast sandwiches.

I was a little worried when the menu said they only had poached lobster. Would it be a small piece? I wanted a whole lobster. Well, I got a whole lobster. And it was already out of the shell. And it was amazingly delicious. The beer I had was in incredible and recommend it paired with the lobster. It was a Lobster Ale by Belfast Bay brewing. Wow!
