OMG my mind was blown away by how this Schlotzsky's looked! Because it was so clean, the dining area and bathroom (clean sink, soap dispenser , urinal and toilet) and workers in the front and back were working hard, clean and had great work ethics. IMO this should be the gold standard for fat food, fast casual dining experience in the USA. The people working here deserve a raise and better benefits ASAP! The food tasted great and the veggies and meat were fresh.

Great food, friendly service, and a decent gluten free selection that includes sandwiches and pizza. Fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, and endless dine-in soft drinks. We have become regulars at Schlotzsky’s for the great food and service. When it’s time for a quick bit and we run down the list of places they always top the list. They also offer takeaway service which is great for working lunches and more. Ample parking, handicap accessible, table and booth seating. And as mentioned, a good selection of gluten free options.

Most professionally operated fast food operation and specific location in the greater Houston area. The food is always spot on; the service is unmatched; and management hires the best people.

This is the best Schlotzky's I've ever been! The music is amazing! Super clean, respectful employees, great delicious food. Stop at this place, you won't regret it!

Children waiting on you and don't provide good customer service told them of two problems They said okay and didn't even tell anyone. Never got a receipt cinnamon roll heated up where it burned my thumbs and the frosting was liquidized. Ask for extra mayonnaise on my sandwich and they had it hot like it from a microwave and there seem like there is no mayonnaise only oil on it. You think a franchise could get everything correct.

Service was great. Friendly & respectful employees. Fast service even though food made on the spot. Food is very well made and melt-in-your-mouth good. Highly recommend the sugar cookies & fudge brownies. They're warm, soft and perfectly baked. Even soft second day. And you can never go wrong with a Schlotzky's Original.

I came here for the cinnamon roll/Cinnabon part of the store because I was trying to avoid going in the mall. The cinnamon roll was dry (even after warming up and adding more frosting). It seemed like it was a day or two old. Go elsewhere if you want a Cinnabon.

While I usually frequent the location on University Blvd., I recently dropped in, and it appeared that the location had lost power and was not open. I quickly opened up my Google Maps to locate a closer store and discovered the store located in the First Colony Commons. And, I have to say, I’m quite glad I did. I have frequented the University Blvd. for quite a while, but must honestly say that the quality of the food has steadily gone down in the past several months. I was first introduced to the brand way back in the ‘70s in the Austin/San Marcos area when I was quite young. I guess you could say I was hooked from a very young age. I even frequented the chains NYC location on 6th Ave/Ave. of The Americas when they attempted to break into the very tough NYC sandwich market. (As much as I love Schlotzsky’s, it’s kinda hard to beat a real pastrami on rye from Katz’s or Carnegie Deli. Anyway, I digress. To get to my point, while I ate at the University Blvd. location, I’m glad that fate intervened that day and brought me to the First Commons location. While it might be what I’d consider “NY table seating” (a little cramped for my comfort, it’s all made up in the far fresher food, impeccable cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the quick expediting of the food. All in all, kudos to ALL management, from those who run each shift to the GM as well as the DM. You’ve still got a customer for life. (Now if only you could break back into the NYC market!)
