A perfect birthday dinner. The potato crusted halibut was crunchy outside a d perfectly cooked inside. How du k breast was served with black forbidden rice and a lovely orange fruit coulis. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back.
A quaint little place in downtown Jersey City. The food is great and the staff is tremendously friendly. I tried their avocado toast and their green Goddess Salad was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼. We also had mimos which was deliciously fruity. Bottom line: best place for a Sunday brunch date.
I visited this establishment last night for a first date and I must say it was perfect. No loud music. Intimate setting. Also has an outdoor seating option. Our server was nice and attentive. Clean space. Nice decor. No overcrowding. Quick service. Nice options of food and drinks. I had a strawberry gelato which was sooo tasty. It’s great that they have vegan options as well. I would definitely recommend this place.
First time here we tried the short rib bolognese which was disappointing. It barely has any meat in it, tasted like a bowl of very salty pasta with tomato sauce. The duck breast was pretty good at medium rare. it comes with zero sides, just a few pieces of lettuce and a sprinkle of brown rice. The atmosphere is very nice for date nights
Went to meet a friend of my wife at this place. Roberto & Jane...it was truly great to meet you. Ok, back to the reataurant! We were seated and greeted quickly. Water selection chosen and received promptly. Libations for the evening chosen, with some suggestions from our waiter, and we were off. Appetizer menu is interesting and yummy. We got the grilled cauliflower, crispy brussel sprouts, and arugala salad to start. ALL delicious! Sorry, no pics of the starters, conversation was abounding haha. The entree's were all very good, my only complaint was with the special I ordered, I felt the fish could have used another minute of cooking. Flat Iron Steak and Fries, Grilled Whole Branzino, and Half a Chicken were all on point. I would surely visit again if I were in the area.
We have been here twice already and every time that we came the food is very tasty, the staff is always friendly and attentive. I love the fact that we can enjoy a cute restaurant, good food and we can still talk since the volume of the music is not too loud. I definitely recommend it
This place is so cute on the inside. Huge window with great lighting. There is a second floor also. We came as a group and shared multiple appetizers. I recommend the brussel sprouts and patatas bravas. I ordered the lamb ragu as my entree and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. You can definitely share with someone else.
Great local bistro for brunch in downtown JC, dinners sre great as well. Tip: plenty of outside seating available esp when weather is warm. Check out wine bar spot next door. Pet friendly! Don't miss the cheese and charcuterie board if you're not vegan/vegetarian.
