Fun atmosphere - it really is great to go to on a nice summer day to sit on the patio. Took my son for his first birthday and he was treated to a special pancake! Didn’t expect it but they have high chairs available. The coffee is good and really enjoyed the Sarkis omelette and hash browns. Also great selection of hot sauce and cholula available!
I usually get a bacon or bacon/disaster sausage Loretta (no tomatoes or onions) with cheesy hash and a vanilla iced coffee. Always delicious throughout the past 15 years I've been coming here! Don't forget to add extra seasoning to everything before eating.
Wow! I think I just had the best breakfast sandwich I ever had ! This place is cash only (there is an ATM inside $3 fee) Service was amazing, food came out quick and fresh . I ordered the spicy hash , french toast a veggie sandwich and the Sandwich with house made ground beef (I added mayo) it was amazing!! It may not be the best kept place but they have been open for a long time. So it kept it's nostalgic feel. The scrambled egg was also really good. I will definitely stop by again to try few other items.
Nice and original place to have breakfast. We tried diffrent varieties of pancakes and liked them. Note that they only accept cash.
Gosh I hope this place is still kicking. Sarkis was awesome, I miss that guy. The food is amazing still, the Loretta sandwiches are the best. If you want to try something you've never had before, go with the disaster sausage. I can't even begin to tell you what's in it, other than full-on deliciousness.
Whenever I am in either Evanston or Wilmette I make it a priority to stop by Sarkis. The bacon loretta is always the go-tod I went gluten-free bread this time and was highly impressed. All of the hash brown items on the menu are to die for. I got the Cheesy hash with peppers and onions. This has been a staple in the Chicagoland area for years and it will likely continue that way into the future. We will be back sometime soon that’s for sure. The staff is always super helpful and kind. Outdoor seating is available for those wanting to take in the day and the weather.
Sarkis is a mainstay. Best breakfast sandwiches in my opinion. My go to is the Disaster Sandwich. Egg, pepper, onion, and Armenian Beef Sausage. Absolute best.
Oh my goodness! What can I say about breakfast at Sarkis! Absolutely delicious and so much food! I highly recommend making this a must stop restaurant for breakfast while visiting Chicago!
