I picked up sandwiches to go from Sarge’s and it’s a local go-to joint for good ol’ subs. The place looks like the same way that it did in the 90’s, but the subs were solid. I had the Sarge (aka Italian), meatball parm, and turkey. The hoagies were nice and soft and the ratio was just right between meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. I def recommend subs to go if you are in the area. On a side note, I saw other one-star reviews 1) about their parking lot 2) their buffalo wings. I would say this about those two bad reviews - 1) there is plenty of street parking 2) why the hell would you get buffalo wings at a sandwich joint? Just my two cents.

First time trying this place today, I had the Sarge sandwich. The special came with a free bag of chips and can of soda less than 10 bucks. Atmosphere pretty cool lots of military pictures inside and such and the cashier and workers were pleasant. Sandwich to me was 4 out of 5 or so but overall experience 5 . Definitely will be going back.

I didn’t even get food here, but accidentally pulled into their parking lot right next to Pizza Side where I intended to get food. It was an honest mistake. The lot was completely full and so tight. My boyfriend was trying to turn around and leave, but it took maybe 2 minutes with all their poorly placed cans and cones. I got out and slid two cans back because it was impossible to leave without doing so. The entire time the workers/owners are staring us down very nastily. At this point they had no way of knowing we weren’t going to their store. They also continued to stare nastily both times we walked past after getting our pizza. Horrible atmosphere, I will never consider trying a place that thinks it’s right intimidate potential customers.

From one veteran to another and to everybody else this place is outstanding food was phenomenal never thought just having a sandwich would be such a great experience the people there care they're engaging they love having you around they talk it was just an all around outstanding experience highly highly highly recommend this place just if you want to get a quick sandwich are great the prices are reasonable !!!!

Used to go here all the time with a friend for the sandwiches and they were a crowd pleaser with my family. The decorations are nice and sarge is super friendly! The sandwiches are huge, the sodas were so good I'd buy some just to bring home. 2 years later I've moved out of state and find myself wanting to return for lunch and friendly atmosphere.

Ordered a dozen wings tonight. Got ten wings and two pieces of something that may have belonged to a chicken. Didn’t dare to try it. Kind of disappointed with my meal. I liked their wings the most in the neighborhood. Don’t think I’m gonna order again

My kids and I love eating at Sarge's. The subs are fresh and delicious. Everyone working here is amazing and friendly. They also offer a student special.
