Had my sons birthday party just yesterday. I had ordered a 3 tier cake. Andrew was very clear and consistent with communication. The cake decoration was amazing and looked great with our theme. And it tasted great as well! I would absolutely work with them again

My family and I have been coming here for years. Best Italian pastries you can get and at a good price. The staff has even been reported on by the news and magazines for years as well as even on Cake Boss. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. Get the standard Cannoli, you can’t go wrong. We ordered a variety and loved every single one. It shows how simple is best and true to our roots. As an Italian raised around all of these pastries as a kid, it brings back old memories of family taking a bite into the cookies and biscottis. Grazie mille!

Sapienza has been my go to bakery since I was a young girl. Every birthday cake, holiday event desert has been made by them. I also love to go in for a quick cupcake, and cookies. When I was younger my grandmother would bring me after school for cookies and they were just as delicious then as they are now. The Red velvet cake is my favorite, they make a delicious cheese cake. Our go to has always been a vanilla cake filled with half pineapple and half strawberry. I also like that they employ young locals. They can be a little delayed with service but they are really friendly to talk to so I don’t mind. I recently ordered a speciality cake from them for the first time. Simple process I ordered via email, sent Andrew a picture he gave me the price and I called in to pay. Minimal hassle with the pick up but overall, I have no issues. Will continue to buy cakes here.

Have been a customer of this bakery for almost 30 years. Very pleased with the final cake. It came out exactly like the picture I sent. The taste of the cake itself was great. Vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filing.

Off the charts bakery which happens to be kosher. Perhaps the only place kosher eaters can get a truly authentic Cannoli ... ask for a big chocolate chip Cannoli if you don't see it on display, they will make it for you fresh.

I love their miniature strawberry cheesecake. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and a linzer tart. I did not know they offered cookie size pastries of both. The person who waited on me did not let me know there were other sizes or ask which one I wanted. When I got home, I had a cookie sized linzer tart and a miniature cheese cake.

The customer service was excellent, but after seeing so many good reviews I gave it a try for a smaller cake piece 🍰 called “Red Velvet”. I don’t know how long it would have been sitting there for but the cake crust was really hard and not even soft, didn’t feel like having it after 2 spoons of bite. I don’t know what have changed the taste, but it wasn’t at all to the expectations what I have had from the stores.

My daughter bought me a birthday cake here the other day. I asked her to make sure it was a white or yellow cake with strawberry filling and white butter cream frosting. Well people... I had been feigning for this cake for over a month. Kudos to my child for finding this excellent Bakery. I'm including a Pic but let me describe my experience with you. Firstly the presentation was absolutely beautiful. It was iced perfectly and had real strawberries dotted around the top. When I cut into into it, it had two giant layers of pale yellow cake and a thick filling of strawberry with thick white butter cream icing. (I fainted a little). OK, so the filling was so decadent. It had real chopped strawberries in it and it was just the perfect amount of sweetness. The cake also had just the right amount of sweetness and nice and moist. The butter cream frosting was silky and melted in my mouth. The strawberries on the top were glazed and they were sweet and I could cut them with my fork! In conclusion, I will buy all my cakes from Sapienza Bake Shop as long as I can. As a matter of fact, I will buy my birthday cake here even when it's not my birthday... 😂
