Not a great food experience.... The chips were greasy, the salsas were both pretty bland and neither had any spiciness. The rice was oddly crunchy, like it might have overcooked a bit? The chicken taco was okay but you couldn't pick it up because the tortilla was soaked and disintegrated on the side that was on the plate, maybe they didn'tdrain the meat before adding to the taco... and the only thing hot on the plate was the tamale (which was really our favorite thing we tried here and it was crunchy on both ends too so you couldn't eat the whole thing).
Salsa Grill has one of the best Sopa Fideo I've had really close to my mother in law's flavor. I should order it as a meal. the green chilepork burrito was off its game. it was dry and dod not have any green chile sauce. disappointed. their chips and salsa are always very good and consistent.
I am a Mexican good fanatic! If you ask me what I want for happy hour, lunch, dinner, or breakfast...my answer will be Mexican! This was my first time at Salsa Grill and everything was delicious. The keto bowl bowl is packed with delicious protein and is a great dish if you are eating healthier. The fajitas have a ton of flavor and the meat is cooked to perfection. Best salsa in town! Mitch was a great server & took good care of us. The patio is great to sit on!
Great neighborhood mexican place. Family environment. Food is always fresh and very tasting. Had the pork burrito with black beans as a side. Emily kept the iced tea refills topped. John the owner takes great care of his customers.
Just ok.....came for Taco Tuesday. I prefer chicken tacos but their shredded chicken is clumped up and doesn't have much flavor. I had to break it up and eat it with a fork. My daughter thought the beef had a funny taste. Chips were fresh and the medium salsa was pretty good and had a nice spice to it. Actually thought it was spicier than the "hot" salsa. My margarita tasted like it had a lot of triple sec/sweet and sour mix? And service was a bit slow. Overall not my favorite, but I would try again just not for taco Tuesday.
Cool little Mexican cantina! Owner is closing shop on May 26, 2023. Better hurry and catch some good eats before it's too late. The hot sauce is a must try!
We had the traditional enchilada and enchilada suizas. It was served hot and very delicious!
I have been here quite a few times and have never really found something that wowed me . I tried the steak tacos today and they were just that steak nothing else in them. I didn't realize the side it ca.e with doubled as my toppings
