My favorite place to get sushi in the area. It’s very unassuming from the outside but is truly spectacular. I usually order takeout, and have recently had the pleasure of dining in. Great service and everything tastes even better being fresh and piping hot. The prices are very fair given the quality of food and the big portions served. Can’t go wrong with their Lo Mein, and have yet to try any sushi roll I haven’t loved.

I've been coming here for few years. Their food is not bad. Better then Samurai but not as good as Mizu. People that work there could be a little friendlier. I got Sushi today and found long hair in it.

3 of us came here for lunch. I had the sushi & sashimi lunch plate, which was good, but I was disappointed it did not come with rice (nor miso soup or salad). My companions had the mongolian beef lunch, and broccoli beef lunch, both of which come with rice. Soup or salad was added for $1 each. Both beef dishes were really tasty, and very good value. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, and I would gladly come back.

Average place, small restaurant. My stepdaughter had the sushi and unfortunately I can not rate this place properly, because I don’t eat sushi but I had beef fried rice a simple dish and it was ok hence the 3 star. My wife had the undon shrimp tempura and she like that. So this place is a hit or miss depending on your taste and how the kitchen is doing. Overall you have to judge this one yourself.

The food was absolutely out of control. Like really good. We had a few different sushi rolls, dumplings, shrimp tempura platter and a few other items. Absolutely delicious

After a few times getting their sushi to-go, my boyfriend and I decided to dine in and.. WOW! The sushi was absolutely amazing. All of the fish melted in your mouth. Fish to rice ratio is perfect. Unagi was warm and some of the best we’ve had. We ordered so much sushi they put it on a boat for us, presentation was really great. Customer service was great, everyone was very nice. Sakura has become our #1 spot, and we will definitely be back! All in all, EASY 10/10. Those two men behind the sushi know what they’re doing.

As soon as I came in none came to me. So I decided to come and ask the lady if I can take a sit. She even didn’t come closer to me and kept doing what she did. She rudely asked me what I want, and showed me on the table. I think she is an owner or manager, whatever. Then she even not gave me a menu, she THREW it on the table and just went to the kitchen. Next thing was scuffed plates. They probably save money to buy a new one. It’s not good presentation ( The food wasn’t bad, but the piece of wasabi was too small for so huge sushi. And I don’t like spicy food at all, but decided to try their Tom Yum soup. It was good, I ate it all, it wasn’t so spicy. I would not go there back. Just because of the service what they have. It’s disrespectful to your customers.

Ordered steak and shrimp hibachi, there were only 5 pieces of hard chewy steak. Not cooked medium rare. Not a fan, not worth the $$. Soup had no flavor. I will always choose Samurai in Strongsville over this place. Samurai was unfortunately closed today, but they are definitely better quality/portion over Sakura. 👎
