First time ! Amazing better than I thought it is. Delicious big thick pieces of fresh fish. Fresh vegetables. Hot appetizers. Family sit down is a must. They have All you can eat at lunch time only

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. Excellent, fresh fish and rolls. The atmosphere is relaxing, chill, and moody. The all you can eat special is fantastic, especially since it features a few appetizers as well as rolls. Love this place!

The fish all tasted and smelled like smoked salmon. My tuna sashimi also smelled like fishy salmon. My sushi shouldn’t smell fishy. Unfortunately there are much better comparably priced places in the area. Maybe I just went on a bad day but it was disappointing. The inside is very cozy and comfortable to eat in. Restaurant appears clean, staff is friendly. They DO offer all you can eat which is nice.

I have eaten here a few times before for lunch. It’s an all you can eat menu. The sushi was old and poorly made. The fish actually had a bad fish smell. Ya know…..not exactly appetizing. Great salad and miso though. I’ll go back one more time but with hesitation. Hate posting negative experience but this has to be brought to the owner’s attention.

I faced quite contoversial feelings at Sake Lake Zurich, so I will try to go over every aspect briefly and then share my conclusion. The interior is fine, as you can see from the picture, its nothing more than you expect from a sushi place, although it was pretty clean. Table surfaces look worn and scratched, I would either fix them or replace with different more solid material with no lacquer. Other than that, it was nice and comfortable. The food was good, no doubt about it. Miso soup and house salad like in most sushi places, Veg tempura was freshly made and golden crispy (served without any sauce for it - why?!), but the rolls were decent. I went with Sweet potato (good, yet ordinary), Orange Flamingo (very good, the one covered with tempura crumbs) and Jalapeno Popper (outstanding, although I had to take pepper pieces off on few cuz it was super spicy) rolls. My girlfriend chose Rock-n-Roll (wrapped in soy paper, just amazing) and Spicy tuna rolls that were great either. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh, no questions to the kitchen asked. I wanna talk price before I go into service part, so it makes sense later on. Overall, prices are fine, reg rolls are $6-7, signature about $12, soup $2 and so on, nothing special; but All-you-can-eat is $25, while in all places around that offer it, it is no more than $20 - just what makes you different from everyone else? Oh, and the hot tea normally goes with All-you-can-eat, here it was like $2 or $3 separately, but no big deal. Now to the shocking part, which is the service. The guy who met us when we entered, took us to the smallest table in the back without offering to choose a seat, while we were the only customers in the entire place (1pm Sunday). I told him I would like the booth in the corner, he said we can only have one in the center - fine, no big deal. Later on, the lady taking the order was shocked my gf did not go with All-you-can-eat (the rolls and salad she chose were like $5 cheaper combined) and was like 'Why you don't want it?'. I am sorry, but is this your business at all? the right answer was 'Okay, I'll get these for you!'. Since I got 3 rolls for myself, they were watching us all the time later on, just so I don't share any piece of my precious All-you-can-eat with her lol. Next up, All-you-can-eat menu sheet features Spring Rolls, and I ordered those, however, they told me these are no longer a choice for $25 All-you-can-eat; and I can have them separately for extra price. Take it off the list (print new menus) or keep offering till you out of these old sheets, IT IS YOUR REPUTATION! Moving on, I got a House Salad as a part of All-you-can-eat, while my gf got House Salad off the menu, and guess what? Yes we got different size Salads. Now, I understand they were told to save half a penny on 4 more lettuce strings I could've got if it was same size salad, but THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT THIS TIME (because people got them right next to each other) WAS TO SERVE 2 SAME SIZE SALADS, either BIGGER OR SMALLER - no matter. And the last but not least, the guy spoke almost no English, and the lady came to help, still they couldn't answer a simple question, which rolls are wrapped in soy paper; we had to look up one on yelp and just say 'Can you please get me one of those?' If you are a manager, and happened to read up to this point, please teach your personnel COMMON SENSE. I didn't want to take down much stars, because your place is nice and the food was good, however, if you consider those mistakes, possibly there will be more customers when we're in next time. For others, I would consider takeouts only for now.

While I liked that there was crab Rangoon on the all-you-can-eat menu, the quality of the sushi was horrible. No flavor and their spicy rolls were filled mostly with panko crumbs instead of delicious-with-slight-heat sushi mash. Pay just a little more and get extreme quality by going to Sushi Para in Palatine or Blufish in Vernon Hills. I am never going back here again for sushi.

All you can eat Sushi lunch for a responsible price!

The sushi is awesome! The server are nice. The lunch all you can eat price is $16 and dinner is $25. They offer Pepsi, I don't know if is me or in general, everytime I order a Pepsi it never taste good. Is like drinking water and syrup only. That's the only reason I'm giving only 4 star. The sushi taste really good, I would give it 5☆
