My husband and I went out for a simple date night. The atmosphere was amazing and juat a really good vibe. Food was on point, and everything was hot and fresh. The garden bar was very clean and fully stocked. We had the pleasure of having Kelsi as our server. She was always coming by to assist. Mike, the manager, was phenomenal with making sure everything was good and we were satisfied with our food and service. I would definitely be back with family.
The server was great, was personable and professional. However, the restaurant seemed to be prioritizing online orders the same as in house orders, so many of us were waiting quite a long time for our food while watching food delivery pickups being sent out. I can see the argument for first come first serve, but there's a different expectation for level of service when you're seated at a restaurant and likely paying more for extras and drinks.
Always get great service from the staff. I know it’s hard times right now, but I’m a patient person and kindness goes a long way. The management team was friendly and my meal was tasty. I appreciate being checked on and updated regarding my food and drink status. Again, kindness goes a long way and I truly appreciate the friendly staff in a busy restaurant.
I’ve been here a bunch of times and have not really been impressed with the service. I came here tonight for my daughters 21st birthday and I can’t not brag enough about our server Justin. He is definitely next level, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and he’s go a very great attitude fun to have as a server. Ruby Tuesdays needs to give this guy a raise for how awesome this guy is! Thank you so much Justin!!
Wow, there are a lot of bitter, unhappy people who have nothing better to do with their life than complain. We would like to see them do a better job. We have been to the Ruby Tuesday in Ellenton, FL multiple times and always had excellent food and service. In fact, we were there yesterday evening and Mikey, our server, was AMAZING!!!! He was attentive, courteous, personable, and had a great sense of humor. It was clear that Mikey wanted us to feel taken care of and for us to enjoy our meal and our time at his restaurant. Mikey made sure that our drinks were always filled and repeatedly came by our table to ask if we needed anything and when we did, he promptly fulfilled our requests. As for the food, you can't go wrong. There are so many delicious selections to choose from from the Hickory Bourbon Salmon, Hickory Bourbon Chicken, Steaks, and Ribs. The Garden Bar is the BEST salad bar of any restaurant in the nation! Yesterday evening, we tried the NEW Deconstructed Beef Kabobs which were delicious! We are excited to try all of the other selections from the NEW Menu and look forward to returning to Ruby Tuesday in Ellenton again and again. Keep up the great work and we will see you again soon!
It's always under staffed, but the staff they do have is always extra nice. The place is usually quiet, so if you'd like a nice and quiet meal to be able to converse at, this is a good restaurant for that. My husband and I usually go for the salad bar and it never disappoints. It's very reasonably priced and the food, on the salad bar, is fresh.
Mike the Manager seated us & took our drink orders right away. What more can we say... Krista our server was attentive and took care with every need from drink orders, appetizer & entre order. All in all the team is great, professional & personable. This us how it should be always.
It seems to depend on what you order. Or maybe the food is getting better. I was totally happy with my meal and adult beverage this visit. Other times, not so much, but those were a while ago. I had the Cajun chicken pasta, and it was tasty. Hope this trend continues.
