User Reviews

Pretty good options / variety of Chinese and American options, and things seem fresh - I kept seeing refills. Lots of variety of shrimps from fresh to fried to those in a pot. Hot tea is free which we appreciated, not too expensive for a buffet ($17 per adult).

Nice place, we loved for the all service. Today us did a perfectly in our 8 year's of marriage celebration!

Loved it! The food was delicious and it was a decent cost for two people They offer take out and Dine in, but there are so many different food options from ribs and Mac and cheese to stuffed shells and fried shrimp along with sushi 110% done right, It was so delicious. They had fruit and ice cream for dessert along with pastries and cake. Will be returning, definite recommend. The bathrooms were decent from what I could see as well Could use a little cleaning but other wise not horrible

I very rarely write reviews but I had to write one about this place because it was bad!! Worse pork fried rice I’ve ever had! Most of the food tasted stale. Dumplings were chewy. The egg roll had no flavor. The “cheesecake” was like regular cake because it was so dry. I will never go there again.

All you can eat Chinese, Japanese and some “American” buffet. They have 6 big islands with lots of options. There are so many options that I didn’t have room to repeat after trying a couple from each island. The food is good but classic average. Definitely not the place if you are looking for something more specific or some fancy cook. The Japanese island had some options of sushis and no sashimi. Is is worth going? I’d say so because the price is great and you’ll find a lot of good food (just not above the average). The place is big, so good to go with family and large parties. They also have an island for dessert and some ice cream (simple ones but they tasted good). The only thing I didn’t like is some places like their carpet looked dirty, several stains. Didn’t feel that good looking at them.

I love sampling Chinese buffets and this one is pretty darn good. There is a nice selection and the food is usually hot and fresh Although once I went there about an hour from closing and the food was not but I understand why. I bring this up as a point because I have read other reviewers leaving perhaps unfair negative review of other buffet places when they should adhere to the golden buffet rule to never go to any buffet close to closing. What I like about this is the grill and the sushi which they roll fresh. I would have several plates of the bbq pork and bbq chicken from the grill. It's so good. Another plus is that they offer dumplings and dim sum - not always found at other Chinese buffets. The other stuff is pretty standard fair with a nice mix of of American and Asian cuisine and of good quality. My preference for the boneless ribs is that they cook it more because I like it well done. It caramelizes the sauce onto the pork making it tastier in my opinion. As this is my personal preference and a minor point it should not deter you from making your own conclusions The desert selection is ample with hard ice cream (I don't like the soft serve that other places offer) and a nice selection of cakes, fruits and jello. The wait staff is quick to pick up your plates as you go back for more and soda refills are frequent. Pricing for lunch and dinner are reasonable - a little more than another Chinese buffet in Danbury but not out of line because they offer so much more. I frequent this buffet on my diet cheat days which says a lot since I want the most for my food intake when I allow myself to eat. You should definitely consider Royal Buffet! (sorry - this review was written stream of consciousness over a few hours)

Food was ok definitely not worth the price of the food. Better then some of the buffet in ct no crab legs as they say thou do not worth the drive or money dont waste your time here

Service was decent food seemed old n hard, there was long black hair in food and fly traps everywhere. Little expensive for a buffet. Needs work to improve.
