Have been here several times, and will continue coming back for the food. The food is always very good. Five stars for the kitchen work. After ordering, it usually comes out pretty quickly. While all of the staff is always friendly and kind, they are clearly a bit disorganized and lack any communication or leadership. After being seated, on at least two visits we have waited near 10 minutes to be greeted by our server and put a drink order in. This isn’t a one off occurrence but a regular theme. This comes from a lack of management and training. Lastly, an automatic gratuity of 20% is absurd. If there were other good breakfast options in Carrollton, I’d avoid this establishment for that reason alone. Gratuity should be earned, not mandated.
Atmosphere was great! Food wad delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive; constantly checking on us. Our waitress was Katie and she was simply awesome; this was our 1st time here and she explained and helped us a lot! Definitely recommend and will be coming again!
The food is very good. This is the second time I have been here. The servers are very polite and friendly and the food taste fresh and delicious. Love the ice coffee and the waffles are super fluffy. I recommend the grits, very creamy and tasty, the avocado toast as well as chicken salad sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich are all great options as well. The only thing is they are short staff so the wait is a bit long. But the wait was well worth it.
I've tried shrimp and grits various times over the years nothing worked I liked. but Rosie's is first and only place I'll continue to go back to eat so shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles 🧇 Awesome on top of the service and the place and staff itself I highly recommend Rosie's. Thank you
As a regular at Rosie's it is by far my favorite Carrollton Treasure for lunch and breakfast or Brunch... we had the newest coffee selections the Oatmeal Cinnamon latte and Cinnamon caramel latte which were absolutely delicious recommendations. Our waiter James was professionally humorous, attentive and polite; he made sure we had everything we needed and our food was brought out promptly. The food presentation was as beautiful as it was delicious 😋 . The cook Tracy even was courteous enough to come out and make sure we enjoyed our meal and experience. 10/10 will be back.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was seasoned just right and the portions were very generous. The smores hot chocolate was delicious and so was the fish and grits. What topped the food off was the impeccable service. I will definitely add this to my routine stop while in the A!
Great food good service atmosphere was great. Went for a ladies brunch. Our service was great overall. We had a new waitress/server. After waiting a while and asking about our food due to some that needed to take meds with food, the one training our server jumped in to help and the ball got rolling! They got busy it was hard for the new server. We had an amazing time overall! It was most of all of our first time and we all enjoy our food!
Love Rosie's! Our server, Sabrina, was so pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing. My husband and I both had a breakfast platter. The bacon was crispy without being burnt. The grits were creamy and the potatoes were divine! Sabrina made me a coffee martini. Absolutely amazing! Rosie's is cozy and the customer service is top notch. I like how you pick up your own menu and seat yourself, anywhere you like.
